System players, just like the players at BYU, Hawaii, Texas Tech, etc when they ran air raid offenses. North Dakota State did not have a good pass rush. Even though the Big 12 isn't what it was in its heyday, there are still a couple of teams in the conference that play defense. Colorado does not have much of a running game, and Shedeur usually makes bad decisions under pressure. He had a mostly clean pocket last night because NDSU didn't have good enough d-linemen to get to him. Nebraska is starting to build up momentum and get back to playing Blackshirt defense. I see Colorado getting routed against the Huskers.

Concepcion from NC State put up an identical stat line against a similar opponent. Let's see whether he can do this against Georgia or Ohio State. He was supposed to do this against NDSU. You can tell when there's a dominant college WR who might as well be a pro already like when Larry Fitzgerald played at Pittsburgh and Calvin Johnson played at GT. Travis Hunter got injured numerous times at Jackson St and was injured last year as well. He's too fragile to last, even in the watered down NFL that tries to take away bonerattling hits.

NDSU Is one of the elite FCS programs in all of college football, so this W was definitely a success for Colorado, period
NDSU is undoubtedly one of the best FCS programs in history, but this isn't the mid 2000s. NDSU lost 4 times last year to FCS opponents and finished fourth in their conference. CU is going to be lucky to hit 6 wins this year.

I think Colorado is the same team as last year. A couple outstanding skill players, and everyone else. That O line was a C- and that’s being generous; the defense’ best weapon in the second half was NDSUs curiously time wasting offense, and the clock operator dumping 3-4 seconds at the end.

No they don't. The best WR duo will either be Evan Stewart and Tez Johnson from Oregon or Egbuka and Smith from Ohio State. And both of those teams will be trying to win a national championship, unlike Colorado. Oregon took a stand for America last year with that drubbing they gave Deion in Autzen Stadium.

Their unwillingness to commit to establishing the run is also an issue. The defense was not terrible. Their lack of discipline just kept them on the field longer than needed. That said, the offense could not control the clock as they refused to run the ball. Time of possession was almost 2:1, just like all the games CU lost last year.

@@C_71 no he has many weaknesses that will prevent him from being that good in the NFL. Has nothing to do with hate. He's slow and doesn't escape pocket well. He also still holds the ball too long at times. He def at least this game did seem like he improved a lot from last season. The issue is it's still to early to tell. But his lack of athleticism, avg arm strength and holding the ball too long are major issues at the NFL level.

I think the Huskers are going to D them up. They'll pressure Sanders all day and shut down the run. If Nebraska can put any semblance of offense together they will win by 10+ based on the lack of improvement I see from CU.
