South Sudan States

South Sudan President Salva Kiir recently ordered the number of regional states be nearly tripled, to 28 from the existing 10 states. The United States, Britain and Norway, say that move is a source of serious concern and have called on President Kiir to hold off, until the transitional government of national unity is formed and a national constitutional dialogue can take place. Speaking to VOA, South Sudan Vice President James Wani Igga said it is a negotiable proposition.
