Thanks for the vids on the 600 series Challengers. I flew these things for years out of Reno, NV starting with a 601-1A (#3062) which we nicknamed "the Fat girl" and ending my career (retired) flying a 604 about 15 years ago. I'll have to say that they were great airplanes to fly and we went all over the US, Canada, Mexico, the British Isles and to Hawaii and Alaska with them and had EXTREMELY few issues during that time. About the only ones I can remember were a gyro failure one time somewhere in New Mexico and a front left windscreen that started to delaminate while on a trip back east. It was a pleasure to fly as a pilot and the passengers loved the VERY comfy/roomy cabin. While neither was the fastest bullet in the sky, they did reasonably well in terms of both decent speed and range in great comfort. The only handling ill I can remember was the tendency to kinda get up on one main and "waddle" on the fairly short mains when landing in a crosswind , so you needed to do a good thorough prelanding brief with the copilot as he/she had to keep the control wheel pretty firmly into the wind for a lot of the post touchdown part of the landing roll.

Scared? Scared of what? Spiders and snakes?? The only time I can EVER remember being kinda concerned in many hours flying these things was one time returning to the US from the British Isles and encountering some WAAAY STRONGER than forecast headwinds, necessitating a slight change in route/refueling plans in the interest of a "no worry" flight.

@@donjohnson8649 well I’ve been flying on small Jets all my life but I’ve been growing a fear and at that time I was about to fly to Alaska from Mexico last time I flew to that region there was terrible weather

What I don't understand that so many customers of a jet this size and prize don't oder the EVS system which is mandatory for landings with bad view in small airports. Landing at small airports is what private jets is all about. If you can't land there you can take a commercial flight.
