MKG destroys buildings more than defending them. Not to mention fighting an alien mecha and his cyborg ex-partner Gigan is odd even though he was mechanized and sent from the future to defend mankind.
I remember having something of a beef with that aspect of the game. Like one mission where you have to defend a small city from a big fight between Godzilla and Rodan, as if that's doable. This isn't the Pipeworks trilogy where you can grab monsters and aim your thrwo, y'know?
If there is one thing I have to give the creators of this game credit for its that they actually got mecha king ghidorahs grab right with him actually using his machine hand this time around
If you think about it, Biollante is pretty much a counter against Ghidorah variants, as Ghidorah's best attacks all have a bit of a long foreswing, and Biollante is built for rushing, with its charging attacks and short foreswing which easily KBs enemies

Pro tip if you wanna grind: Use adult mothra she is fast. Easy to control. Can counter most attacks Roar + 🔼 does so much damage it’s 3 hit with the strong attack in one LR LR / RR RR helps you dodge really fast and easy so I recommended spamming it and going behind your enemy and roar + triangle and spam the attack buttons

Pretty much, though you need a certain amount of monster cells/parts in order to get them and further unlock their moves and dioramas.
