  • While exploring a deep and rugged gorge in the high mountains of central Japan I encountered a region of numerous waterfalls and extraordinary river and mountain scenes. The experiences inspired me to awe and to thoughts of the meaning and purpose of our living.
✨ Embrace the essence of living fully in "Just Live! - DBAD" on the LylesBrother channel. In this episode, Kurt Bell embodies the spirit of 'Don't Blow Any Dogs' (DBAD), a philosophy of living life with a carefree and open-minded perspective.
Kurt talks about the importance of seizing the day, finding joy in the simple things, and approaching life with a sense of humor and adventure. He shares his views on why it's crucial to let go of unnecessary stresses and to embrace the spontaneity and beauty of life. This video is a celebration of the DBAD ethos, encouraging viewers to live in the moment and to appreciate the journey, not just the destination.
"Just Live!" is a call to action to enjoy life, to not take things too seriously, and to find happiness in being true to oneself. Join Kurt as he shares his insights on embracing life's adventures with a lighthearted and adventurous attitude.

you were right about the number of people in shizuoka, about 725,000. anyways i love all of your videos but there are a few truly breathtaking ones that make me just astounded, this being one. your videos are always filled with intriguing conversation and spectacular sights, and the ones (like this) that combine both are simply marvels. you know you've succeeded as a youtuber when your audience really feels like they're going on a hike with you. thanks for the great work and keep it up!

My favorite video I've seen so far, glad I saved it sometime ago so I could watch it when I had some free time. Love the message in the end of the video Kurt, definitely will keep that one in mind. My biggest fear when I started to imagine visiting these places would be the insects & leeches but I guess that's just a small toll I got to pay. ;)

Dude, after watching the whole thing, I just have to say this (copy and paste from facebook share):
I have to say that this vid is reminding me of the time I went swimming at the school pool, forgot my underwear, went commando in my shirt and trousers, and then got rained on. Talk about feeling Au Naturale. (bad french XD). Nothing like getting wet, in your clothes, at night, with no one around and nothing on underneath. XD Can you GET anymore natural? Well... XD

hey kurt i read the oldest part of the brain is the emotional section.and we are visual creatures,it easy to understand why it would of developed first as our cavemen counter parts would of been in aw over such sights and sounds, anyhow,iv experience such things only nature can create,tv can come close.nothing like living it/breathing it with all our senses in over load.when i hear the water rushing,in my mind im noodling around on the guitar, playing what ever nature inspired, nature is the band

I'm pretty sure falling in there would kill you. I think.
    3:59
'Cause it's wet. >< Reminds me of that freak rainstorm back at boarding school. No warning. WHAT-SO-Ever! Just 'POOSH!!!!' Rain! XD
    5:45
-and the natives nearby are grinning to themselves and thinking: 'Crazy gaijin.' XD
I have to say, sometimes when I see rivers gushing like that, I wonder where they get all that water from to gush so hard. It has to run out sometime right? Rain water doesn't collect that fast, does it?

Don't apologize at all. Our stupid culture tries to indoctrinate a belief that men can't express their feelings, and if they do, they're pansies. This was a hell of a trip and it was exciting to watch. Thanks for risking a cold in order to get us beautiful scenery.

First time I see your videos and I can say that my first impression of you is not that of a crazy person. My guess is that either people in Japan don't have either the time or the money to go site-seeing. That or maybe people DO go there but you just don't see them or they go at another time.
Anyhow, I can understand your enthusiasm; I personally wouldn't get that excited except if I imagine a fantasy-like scene (e.g. two adventures hopping over a rock; traveling to a village).
