- Unboxing, Reviewing and testing the Vifa Copenhagen 2.0 Wifi Bluetooth speaker.
Heard a lot of great things about this brand's sound quality and I must say that it really did not disappoint when I heard it first hand, great sonic signature, high quality materials and nostalgic minimalist design.
Only sad thing is I had to send it back after my review and testing :( but either way I had good fun with the time I spent.

@@OCMANMEDIA I sure hope you make a lot of money on your skills. If not, you should!
@@thegeniusfool Thanks for your kind comments, I really appreciate that.
its about the sound not video
I should mention beside all of those I love your calm and soothing commentary voice.
This channel is underrated!! Very detailed review, calm voice and well edited. Keep doing what ya doing!
Thanks for the comment.
This guy is my man now, I like ur editing, amazing
Thanks for the comment, I really appreciate it.
Excellent video and review. I liked the sound this speaker makes too. But I felt the stereo imaging with two speakers felt less palpable.
I have two of them and they’re special. You truly get what you pay for with these. The clarity is unmatched.
Yeah absolutely, its a high price but it sound good. The Oslo was shocking, I never imagined it would keep up with big bodied speakers, I think its probably one of the best that I have seen based on price, features, and portability.
Yes, but in this case you get what you pay for. Vifa has been making quality speakers for a long time.
So copenhagen 2.0 or Oslo for direct sound quality?
I'm waiting for my Etymotic ER2SE to check how close the Copenhagen 2.0 is to the original recording...
Nice reviews, honestly, towards the simplicity and modern lifestyles, these speakers do shine. For easy listening, classics and sort of, it sounds awesome. Overall, the Copenhagen do shine.
Sean Mohamad thanks for your comment, really appreciate your thoughts. Yeah the Copenhagen is really great.
Wow! Amazing channel. Prodution is unbelievable.
Thanks for the comment
Your videos are so underrated and you are now my best speaker reviewer ever! You earned a subscriber and I want to see a review on the bose revolve plus compared to the Harmon kardon onyx studio 4. Thanks!
Thanks for your comment, and for watching the video I greatly appreciate it 😃🙏🙏. Yes the Bose revolve has been on my target but haven't been able to get one yet, I hope to do so soon, would really like to make that comparison video you suggested.
OCMAN MEDIA let’s make it happen soon!
Yes ocman media make it
oh, by the way, sick video, with amazing editing!!!
Conan Nanoc Thank you so much I really appreciate your comment.
It sounds really great, but give the performance of Oslo - I really wish it could be paired the way the Copenhagen can be. It would make more sense price and space wise while leaving little to be desired compared to Copenhagen.
This is my fav review of the Copenhagen since you went into the much needed details as well. Btw where do I check out the documentation you showed in the video?
Bought this speaker, mainly after seeing this video (also was a 'steal' for €499 in 1 color, while all the others and other sites sold these for €699 here). Great video quality and editing too btw.
Thanks for the comment, I'm glad this video helped. 499!! wow you got a real steal. such a beautiful speaker, pricey but premium.
@@OCMANMEDIA yes, got it in tonight, loving it so far. I live in an apartment and I had the HK Go+Play before, but the bass was often too much, especially considering the neighbors. Like the sound of this one a lot more. Barely any delay with video too, which is a huge problem with most speakers.
Yeah the low latency in video is Flawless!! far better than most BT speakers, I just wished it maintained it when you pair two of them together in stereo, it would have been an Ultimate BT speaker for me, so far no speaker has achieved this yet.
Excellent review! I would like to see a decibal test. Everyone says it will play loud. That is very relative.
DUDE, videography is on point! Loved it!
Would you consider reviewing the Transparent Speaker, by PeoplePeople?
2:34 thanks it brought a smile to my face
Whaaaaat?? The sound, OMG!!
This video, even better than the speaker's ad, i guess.
The copehagen is so good about Tune-in(wifi), very balance and natural.
Thanks for your comment, yes the Copenhagen 2.0 is really good. 👌
In my opinion, your channel is one of the best review channels for portable speakers. why don't you do it anymore??????? so sad about thí.
Great review and great videography!
Thanks for the comment
Hey great video, fine analysis and overall, very informative.
Thank you very much, really appreciate your comment.
Great review!!! You really showed where these speakers really shine.
Thanks for your comment really appreciate it, and thanks for recommending to try the Oslo.
I’m glad your enjoying the Vifa speakers.
A versus video between the Vifa Copenhagen 2 and the HK GO+PLAY would have been nice.
One thing that bothers me about the Copenhagen (probably my lack of knowledge) is that it seems impossible to set-up a BT-connection (e.g using Airplay or via a DAP) and not being able to pair two of these speakers. The manual says is should be easy to pair the speakers just by shortly pushing the 'Vifa Link' button.
What also bothers me is that the Vifa Home app for Mac is now only available when using a Mac with an M1 chip......... No Intel support...
reading between the lines, I'd say that you truly preferred the Oslo
I would like a similar quality speaker that plays hi end on very low bed time level loudness.I think most companies go always for the too much but sometimes less is what many really need.
Earfun Uboom L for ya, also Vifa has late night mode so still sounds quite nice on lower volumes
Great review
ill buy the speaker because your a nice teacher
Does this have the farting problem like the Oslo at high volume?
how is the bass on this thing?
Hey there!
Man what a nice review you have here..
I have a Copenhagen first version that sounds terrific, it’s really the best Bluetooth speaker I ever heard, and as a speaker freak i am, I have heard a lot of them.
Man do you really think this Copenhagen 2.0 y far superior than the first version? I mean I can’t imagine the same size and exactly the same looks with a much better sound that mine. Have you heard the one I have? Do you think it really worth the 700 US dollars for an upgrade?
I’m scared to spend that much money and at the end of the day I don’t notice much of a difference between the two of them.
I don’t know if I should make the effort and buy this jewel that looks and probably sounds pretty much like mine.
Best regards man!
Carlos Martin Thanks for the comment. I haven’t owned the first version but judging from the spec sheets for both of them I can say they are actually the same thing in terms of build and performance, however the version 2.0 has wifi playback which gives room for Hi-resolution audio playback (not a big deal if you don’t already have or stream Hi-res files), and it also supports the Vifa Home app which enables more features like DAB stations, music streaming services, and multi-room music setup with flexible L/R stereo or mono setup. Bottom Line: if you want to buy more than 2 Copenhagen 2.0 or in combination to any other of the 2.0 family which supports the Vifa Home App, then yess! it’s worth the upgrade. But if you are looking for single speaker then I think you already have the best parts. I wouldn’t worry too much about the other features, they are only worth it if you are looking for multiple speaker setup across your home with a great app to control them independently or as group. Hope this helps
Hi! Thanks for this video!
When stereo paired how works Spotify Connect? Does stereo pair appears in app as single unit and play in stereo? Is there some latency?
And does Airplay see 2 Vifas as one unit?
Thanks for this high quality review. Is there any difference between ac Power plugged in and only battery powered concerning loudness and general music quality?
Nope! as far as I know there is no effect on volume or music quality when running batteries or ac power.
@@OCMANMEDIAа большая разница по громкости между Copenhagen и oslo?)
Great video, keep up the good work,👍
Thanks, I apreciate it.
I have mine hooked up via chromecast audio.
Do try the following:-
1. Klipsch The Three Wireless Speaker
2. Audio Pro Addon C10
3. Fender Monterey Bluetooth Speaker
4. Bang & Olufsen Beoplay A6
Oslo sounds better than all of them...
@@lukabosnjak3829 Lofl, YOU again? Sure, of course, any Vifa product sounds better than any other product on earth. Do you have shares in the company or what?
@@kencur9690 No, I have to hear a better sounding speakers first.
Sure you got some speaker and think that its the best, learn what you're talking about first, Vifa has some really nice drivers (all of their speakers have push-push woofers for example, like devialet or Kef who is discovering this tech now after 5 years but for 10x the price), they have a natural tuning without boomy boosted bass, peeks or anomalies.
Everything said above is not in the same league regarding the sound quality and anyone who knows something about speakers will state the same...
@@lukabosnjak3829 I don’t have some speaker and think it’s best: I’m not a silly fanboy like you. That’s all you, you’re the one who has some speaker (a fkn BT speaker, no less) and think it’s best. Truth is, they are good, but not best, no. There are some things they might be best at, but in the end things are far more complex than your little fanboy attitude thinks.
@@kencur9690 Fanboy? 🤣 Tell me a better one first, I've searched almost whole Internet for *the best* and my conclusion is that, I haven't found or heard of something that is better at being a speaker than Vifa (they're far from perfect with awful app, mediocre battery but it's the sound because you're buying a firkin *speaker* not a powerbank or a gimmick like nearly everything else on the market).
I could teach you here why Vifa does in fact have the best sound quality but its a loss of time it seems...
Amazing review, first time heard of this speaker. Sound great but the price tag is pretty crazy. As for soundbar, I do suggest you to try out hw-q90r.
WOW!! HW-Q90r's setup looks 🔥🔥🔥, would definitely like to get my hands on those.
Due to your comment I checked it out on UA-cam by watching the guy on NeverEnoughTech channel and it seems to me that If you were to compare these two the arc is far superior in terms of quality in sound but this Copenhagen 2.0 is definitely awesome because you can take it anywhere unlike the q which is like comparing apples to oranges they’re both amazing in their own fields
Great review as usual! Looking forward to the next!!
Hey thanks for watching, I really appreciate it, Yes definitly more video's coming soon.
I have a beoplay A6 and I love it but I'd love to own a Copenhagen as well
Oh woow you have the Beaplay 6! I really like the wired look of that speaker, I think it will look really nice in the house.
thanx for this informative video. Do you think you could connect the Copenhagen 2.0 with others companies speakers?
Thanks for the comment, the Copenhagen only directly connects to other Vifa speakers, however I found a speaker called addon, it’s made by a company called Audio Pro and the speaker is compatible with Vifa App (not the Vifa Home app). It doesn’t connect to Vifa speakers but it can be controlled by Vifa app.
Is there a big difference in loudness between the copenhagen 2.0 and the onyx studio 4?
Ониксы все тихие)
hi ocm!
Thanks for the best review !
I own both oslo and copenhagen 2.0.
On my iphone 50% volume on oslo = 80% on copenhagen2.0.
I cant hear low level with this copen.
This big guys sound so thin at lower level.
i disapoint with this issues.
by the way your videos are awesome
Yeah that’s true they reduce bass at higher volumes
Hi Bui phat, would you recommend Oslo or copenhagen 2.0? I am interested in the Copenhagen for its soundstage but I mostly listen to music with 30-40% volume ... so I kind of hesitate to spend lots of money on Copenhagen and feel sorry if it can play well when I turn the volume down.
I went to the store and listened to the Oslo sound it’s soooo nice!
@@chuangjudy7614 oslo has way more bass at late night mode. Copenhagen has better mids.
@@chuangjudy7614 oslo is a lot better at low volumes
Does it automatically change to different power voltage? Can you use it to 110v and 220v? Like bose
Hi! Do you maybe know how to recognized helsinki vs helsinki 2.0?
Hi, can you playback from the usb?
Really great video - very enjoyable and well presented.
Must admit I think the Oslo actually sounds better than the Copenhagen in your samples but you can’t pair two units together for stereo reproduction unfortunately.
Hey thanks for your comment, really glad you liked it.
Yeah totally, I was also shocked by the sound of the Oslo, considering it had the smallest body of the two. the Copenhagen suffered slightly because of the location of the tweeters are angled upwards so the sound appears warmer from a seated position.
@@OCMANMEDIA the smallest is helsinki
@@OCMANMEDIA the oslo has a lot more bass, which is really weird.
Great video! SUBED! What was the first music played from the speaker?
Hey thanks for the comment, really appreciate it, Sorry for late reply been busy working on a new video, but here is your request, www.epidemicsound.com/track/aBrusHaiTb
Enjoy!
It would have been nice to hear 2 Oslo's as a stereo pair I am not sure weather to buy one Copenhagen or 2 Oslo's if that makes sense
The Oslos cannot pair in stereo. you can consider the Copenhagen 2.0 because it is somehow 2 Oslos in one.
@@OCMANMEDIA it's really not.
I appreaciate the work put into making the intro, I don't really like it though because it feels like modern tasteless marketing, that said I see other people like it which is fine but you still have a problem, making a review look like an add is mostly bad. Unless your end goal is getting companies to pay you to make videos for them, maybe don't that.
You talk about playing two of these in stereo multiple times. Do they really play as a stereo pair? My other Vifa speakers - Helsinki, Oslo, and City - do not. The only pair in so-called "party mode."
Please clarify -- the difference between party mode and stereo is huge.
Thanks for your help.
David Stock Yes I can confirm it is full L/R stereo. it splits the channel and one speaker plays the right channel and the other plays the Left. It sounds really nice but not good for watching movies in paired stereo mode
So its basically not a stereo speaker. Right?
i cannot help but notice the brass in the first song, changing the tone wildly from one speaker to the other. Which one would be closer to the real thing?
Conan Nanoc the Oslo was the most accurate in my opinion, the Copenhagen could have been most accurate but because the tweeters are firing slightly upwards you loose that detail from a sited position unless you are standing or slightly elevated from the speaker. Harman Kardon is also very close but it has a tiny bit more low end in the brass.
Great review! Eagerly look forward forward to your Stockholm 2.0 review. In one of the videos I saw that vifa app enlists non-vifa speakers on its app for playback if they are on same wifi network (If I am not wrong it was clavinetjunkie's video). Can you please check it? I have a Jbl authentics L8 and I would love to stream simultaneously to a Vifa for a multiroom setup if it's possible.
Hey thanks for the comment, haven't been able to buy the Stockholm 2.0 just yet, its a huge investment for now, In the mean time I hope to loan a review unit from Vifa.
As for your question, I think that is quite interesting! to be honest I have never tried it before, I wish I have a Wifi speaker around me I could have tested it out for you. From the looks of it its quite possible to work if they share the same protocol, only one way to find out, since you have a wifi speaker (jbl authentics) you can download the Vifa Home app and try it the app is free.
Just make sure the speaker is on the same network with phone or tablet then launch the Vifa app and see what happens 😃🤞.
Normally it automatically scans the network for speakers.
very nice job on the video, the quality of a Nike commercial
Thanks man, really appreciate the comment.
Bro, please review to harman kardon allure 🙏🙏🙏
I would love to review that speaker, but I dont have it yet.
@@OCMANMEDIA i'll waiting for your next videos, keep it up man
@@jovianjanitra5494 Thank you for the amazing support.

Onyx 4 has really clean sound but the vifa has more bass thank you for the video
Kaloyan Trifonov thanks for sharing your thoughts, I appreciate it.
You’re welcome 😇
onyx 4 kid vs vifa in loudness)))
Brilliant little video this. i especially like the editing from 10:00 onwards. i've watched it 5 times already........ how did you create this little scene?? can you shoot me a message with which oftware/plugsins etc perhaps? thanks!
Hey Thanks for your comment, I'm glad you liked my video.
To answer your question, Software I used for this video is just Premier Pro cc, no Plugins and nothing special, I just chop up the video to the beat, then I use speed up and down to add fast and slow motion etc very basic stuff and can be done on any software, you dont need premier to achieve it. every other effects was captured live on camera, things like the lightning colors and smokes and flairs all was done live. 100% 0 effects used. its very easy but a bit time consuming to get it perfect. hope this helps
Great review. I found that the Oslo has a bit better treble. What are your thoughts on the Helsinki
Thanks for your comment. Absolutely the Oslo killed it in the treble department. The copenhagen does have good treble but sadly it is located at the top part which is angled upward so you get the best of it when you are standing or have the speaker much lower than your ears.
I haven't spend good time with the Helsinki yet but the one time I heard it I though it was brilliant. It really represents Vifa's great sound signature (defined mids & clear highs) however at low levels the bass does lack punch a bit (still OK), though it can be compensated buy using the late night mode from the Vifa app, this boasts the bass at low levels but not great for high Level listening.
It's hard to part with £600 listening to a youtube video. I have the big blue party speaker but want to upgrade as I have bought a sony walkman which can connect with ldac and aptxhd but I just can't find anything in a reasonable price range that beats the big blue party speaker.
Excellent review!
I have the Oslo at the moment and was thinking about upgrading. In your opinion does it sound much better?
Also does it have "late night" mode like the Oslo?
Thanks for the comment, in my opinion in terms of Stereo sound the Copenhagen is yet the best I have heard, however the Oslo is the most crispy and clear highs, the copenhagen also has good highs too but the tweeters are angled up slightly so its not as direct as Oslo. then if you want a bigger sound its going to be the Copenhagen.
second question answer is No (as far as I know), the Copenhagen is not compatible with the Vifa App it only works with the Vifa Home App, I'm not sure if this has changed recently or if they have released an update to enable late night on the Copenhagen 2.0.
From a price to performance standpoint, the onyx 4 is really good. The Copenhagen has a little warmer tone and better mids and soundstage, Oslo is prob 80% of it and not stereo.
very fair point indeed, the Onyx is quite a strong contender, at its price point and sound quality it is quite hard to beat. I think the Copenhagen rather has more of its value in the build material and in features. the Oslo is stereo btw, it just has a smaller width so the stereo spreed is not as much as the others.
It costs around 6700aed...😪
I know right 😢😢, the Price is quite high for most people, but it is a premium speaker and you get what you pay.
Battery life is not that good
Looks like a purse. Vifa, Peerless, and Scan-Speak are Danish transducer brands and over the years have been placed under the umbrella of Tymphany HK. Majority of the products are now manufactured in China. Nothing wrong with made in China however the price tag continues to carry a premium as if it were made in Denmark. Branding games. Period.
Horrible music samples. You can do better
Thanks for your feedback I appreciate it. I really would like to improve my samples, please do you know where I can find good ones?
@@OCMANMEDIA Actually I like samples, you can compare bass mids and treble
