Why did they have to kill her off ? She was so perfect . She had suffered for 500 years . People are saying that she was selfish but I'm sorry , she has been all alone for over 500 years , who do you want her to care about anyone ? And she did , at the end . She could run and have an eternity alone but she did not . She came tu see her dying daughters , knowing that she won't survive . She cared about her . She cared about Damon and Stefan too . She was a good person.

Hanka Janíčková Julie plec is actually working on a spinoff about Katherine's exploit in hell . She said this is why they didn't show whay happened to her in the end with hell's destruction . And she said , that everything ready if Nina accept the offer she 'lol do the show in a heartbeat
