I’m curious if this was written before “Wiser now”. Both songs are on the same album, however on this song he thanks the universe and then in Wiser now, the guys get it right. They start praising the one true king. Obviously there has been a huge movement to Christ in the last couple of years in reggae, take Slightly Stoopid’s last album, The Green, The Movement, Johnny Cosmic, all are openly praising Jesus Christ now. I swear to god, between you guys, stick figure, Trevor hall and a few others I swear to god your writing the soundtrack to my life. When this song came out(I found it today) to the day, I was in a position trying to attempt to buy the house I live in. It was looking like moving not buying. I don’t pray but when it’s appropriate I express my laments up high. Without expectation(another song that was validation for me by Trevor hall). Me and the most high have a weird relationship compared to most. It expresses I try to act in accordance. Two days later, the day this song was dropped I was given an offer better than one I could have imagined, and I’m buying my house by following that advice from up high, be graceful and things will come with ease.
