Mexico always will play their heart out in a final against Brazil. It's not that our players are superior to the Brazilians. It's more a deep respect we have for them and their passion for futbol. Who wouldn't want to play a final against Brazil and win?
If FIFA releases classic teams this 1999 Mexico needs to be one of them.
The Germany team 🤣
The usa team 😂

Marquez praising Ronaldinho, and a few years later, they won the Champions cup, playing side by side for Barcelona. Just a fun fact.
John harkes on Mexico:"just anger and this thickness of the pollution and the altitude and the noise 😭😢😭😢
Ronaldinho on Mexico:" I remember all the support Mexico had, all the fans were on their side. I remember a powerful performance because of the support of the fans does makes a huge difference 👍👌💪
John harkes was proboly joeluse of Mexico having more fans
Sin lugar a duda México tuvo una gran selección en la década de los 90's, este fue una gran final vs Brasil derrotandolos 4-3
Hasta 2012 con la generación que ganó el Oro Olímpico en Londres donde se repetiría la historia
That was a great Mexican team, they put their heads down against the U.S in 2002 and since then haven't such a great attacking team. Hopefully they'll get a great team like this if not better for World Cup 2018 and WIN it!
Mr.Found I feel like Mexico plays better outside of north and South America I think they will play better in Europe
i'll be happy if mexico makes it to the quarter finals
And now to 2022 Qatar
Welp, these worlds aged badly 😔 I have hope that for the 2026 WC our locality in the Azteca will help us on way or another
And this is the kind of players Mexico needs right now.
Daniel Sánchez God i wish we could gave Blanco, Galindo, Pardo, Campos, Claudio Suarez and Luis Hernandez back.
There are better Mexican Players today, than they were back then. Thing is back then they were willing to die for the shirt. Now they’re a joke

They didn't mention that Mexico had a goal taken away that was a valid, on side strike. And the Brazil was given a penalty that should've never been given. So Mexico should've won that game 5-2, not 4-3.
France was not the best team at the time, Mexico won fair and square.

Some people dont believe home field advantage plays a role in sports. but Oh my it did for Mexico in 1970 1986 and 1999. Only reason why mexico didnt advance furth in 1970 or 1986 was because they lost to powerful opponents. 1999 Mexico had agood squad players on prime! 2026 world cup Mexico will have great players but i dont consider it as a world cup for mexico if they dont play all their games in mexico or atleast in very Mexican populate cities.
Ahh back then soccer was soccer now it's just kicking the ball

If Brazil would’ve beaten Mexico it would’ve been consider a more impressive win for Brazil because they brought their inexperienced players while Mexico brought their more experience players, but either way this performance alone shows why Brazil keeps progressing over the years.
