My daughter is ten and her grows like crazy but it's harder for her to keep her natural hair out so I do crochets and braids mostly but she wants straight hair sometimes so I might try this for her to see.

Definitely try it. Cute style. Girls get hard when in the in between stage where they don't want little girl styles but you don't want them looking grown.
