This was really entertaining to watch, even though I already speak English. Even I learned a few new things about these idioms and how they came about. Keep up the good work!

Speak of the devil exists also in italian, it actually continues. So "parli del diavolo e spuntano le corna" would mean "speak of the devil and the horns appear."

Wow, I like that......way more menacing than the English version!

Same in French "quand on parle du diable, on en voit les cornes" (speak of the devil, we see his horns), there's also "quand on parle du loup, on en voit la queue" (speak of the wolf, we see his tail) which means the exact same thing, and both are usually shortened to only "quand on parle du diable" or "quand on parle du loup".

Hello! Could you help me figure out? What's the tense of this sentence "I currently live in Vietnam" ? Why not "I am currently living in Vietnam"? And why not " I have been doing"? Like Present Perfect Continuous. Thank you for a exciting video)

      Hey!
I am Luke, who currently lives in Vietnam :)
I had a look at a few websites to see what I could find. I liked this page the most. maybe it will give you some ideas on how 'currently' is used.

"when pigs fly," meaning something is extremely unlikely to happen; "when pigs might fly" is also technically correct but less commonly used.

Speak of the devil in greek we use speak of the donkey. Actually is not polite but is accepted by friends not from older people we respect.
Edit 1. I thought pig was for Pink Floyd song (just kidding)
Edit 2. In greek we say "raining chairs" for heavy rain.
Edit 3. I am Greek and I don't know the idiom "cata doxa". What is it?
