I like that you mentioned the online bike shopping since I work at a small local shop but I’d like to add that in my opinion it’s not bad to buy something like a commencal if you get it through a shop like my local one!
Yo dawg, my 2011 mercier kilo tt from bikes direct is a gem. But seriously, I agree, Support local if you can, I was young and just wanted an entry level fixed gear bike (In my small city this wasnt available local unless I converted a road bike, and at the time that wasnt in my technical-ability wheel house), Since then I've been refurbing old bikes (60's-80s) and buying nearly all my parts second hand from the local bike co-op parts bin.
Everybody has to start somewhere! The main hope is to just be able to point as many people as possible to Thier local bike shop to keep the industry moving, not trying to put down anyone who has bought somthing online before. Gotta love the local bike co-op too!
Always super excited whenever I see that you posted!
Thank you 🖤🖤
Lookin’ good! Those cranks and that shifter/derailleur combo are pretty sweet.
I'm pretty stoaked on it!

I guess that rival derailleur can take a 11-34t, perhaps 36?
