You are right when you sad those are the books to get into monster romance but still have spice. A SOUL TO KEEP is really really good and I was new to monster Romance at the beginning of 2024. . Ice Planet Barbarians.... I would read only if all other books in the world got turned into ashes. I did read + skimmed book 1, o boy that one is...I am still looking for campfire to do the honers. . @spicykatzreads just so you know all 3 books are about different couples in the same time line, and all male characters are demons that want their partners souls. It's really spicy but the plot also is extremely good. If you liked A soul to Keep, you will definitely like her soul to take trilogy (my personal fav is the 2nd book Her Soul for Revenge)

Don't let the covers turn you away. The Land of the Beautiful Dead is like Walking Dead meets Phantom of the Opera meets Beauty and the Beast. The Last Hour of Gann is a masterpiece scifi slow burn with a lizardman type alien and lives rent free in my head. Scholomance is dark academia that is DARK and the demonic "teachers" don't care if their students don't all survive at their hands. Cottonwood is like District 9 with these cockroach looking aliens, and a social worker human woman falls for the single father among them. Heat is an alien romance by her that has one of the darkest villain "heroes" I've ever encountered. I could go on, but just highly recommend her books! I think you'd love her!

Hi, do you have recs for someone who's not that comfy with smut? Like Fourth Wing is my level of smut and I can tolerate more if it's funny and if everyone respects eachother. If I understood it correctly all of the books you mentioned are pretty smut heavy so I'm a bit scared but also geniunly interested by monster romance. 🧛♀ I'm super intrigued by That time I got drunk and saved a demon.
