World Class Pinch Grip - Chad Woodall Double 2-45's with Old Yorks
Вставка
- Опубліковано 26 вер 2024
- Chad attempted to pinch 2 Old Style York 45-lb plates in each hand. He was not fully successful at this, but came extremely close on one attempt in the middle of the video. Also he did pinch two York 45's with each hand separately. It was unbelievable. www.dieselcrew.com
CHAD COME ON MAN CHAAAAD
UNBELIEVABLE pinch strength! Very impressive effort!
YOU HAD ONE JOB CHAD!
Misses ARE warm-ups! Crazy strong!! Amazing effort.
Saw this video after seeing you accomplish this feat yourself. I had no idea how world class this is. I hope you get the recognition you deserve.
Yeah man it's extremely hard.. I think I have a video up showing why they are so tough.
Most of the problem here is how awkward it is to have them lined up. If they use plates flat on both sides the weight could increase
Certainly the inside rims are one of the big factors in the difficulty.
Brian Shaw did it with both hands just not at the same time
Yes, and I'm sure he would get the double easily.
He made it look super easy too. I'm surprised Eddie was able to get it after because that shit looked impossible.
Very strong dudes
Getting two standard 35s is considered a great grip. Lol this is insane!
For how long 15 sec or just a lift off
@@isaacalzate8262 15 seconds 🤨
What would be a better feat, pinching two 100s (with one hand) or closing the Tetting world class Gripper?
Neither will ever happen.
it was awesome to watch it in person, too!
3×45s plate might be impossible do maybe with 2 hand grip and the guy qould have to be like 7 ft tall and like 300 pounds maybe shaq or giannis
I didn't expect those plates to be so thick.
I wouldn't want to shake this guy's hand
I'm almost positive Jon Kolb could have done...not easy but his grip strength is legendary. His hands were so big and probably one of the strongest ever.
I have seen my Jujitsu instructor (John Saylor) do this on a regular basis and his good friend Peter Ragnar do even crazier pinch grips. I myself was never able to do this with one hand I could only do it with both hands. This is much harder than most people think.
I'm sorry, but I do not believe your instructor did a double old school York 45 pinch lift, nor Peter Ragnar.
@@gripstrength It doesn't matter if you believe me, I saw this done in the early 90s, I tried to do one set and it felt like they were welded to the floor and I couldn't lift it at all. I have no reason to lie about this, I have nothing to gain from it. This is not a new feat of strength it is old school and very difficult. If you can do it great for you.
@@mrhallman64 It happened 20 years ago, so I'm guessing there's no video or pictures, correct?
That was the most frustrating thing I’ve ever watched
It's an extremely difficult feat, and Chad was under pressure to get it done in front of a lot of little and took very little rest between attempts.
This dude is a clydesdale horse he is very strong. No questions about it.
His forearms must have been on fire after that lol I know mine would
@JeddJohnson Jedd, you ain't got nothing to be ashamed of!
Come on Chad.
I want his workout plan!
Those plates should be tack welded together
That would COMPLETELY defeat the purpose of this feat of strength.
@gumpster6 yes he did.
This is obviously insanely impressive but the guy doing the intro is going a bit overboard. I think guys like Andre the Giant and Angus MacAskill could have done this had they ever cared to. Having giant meaty hands would help a lot. I think this guy had the grip strength he just needs to refine his form a bit. Too much motion in the x and y-axes at the beginning of the z-axis pull drains potential energy.
Blah Playhard Thanks for watching and commenting.
Nice work.
Oh Man Hanging Chad..........Good Work those old York Deep Dish Plates are extremely warp and not flush. I'm sure He could do it easily with a new set....
Older are actually easier generally. He has since gotten it and also farmers walked them, as have I.
I’ve don’t it before picked it up to my waist quite hard tho
Gonna need a video link to believe that. Sorry
Just curious, what are the dimensions/thickness of these plates?
I have a video where I measure York plates on my channel, if you want to search.
+Jedd Johnson or you could just fucking answer his question instead of begging for views on your shitty ass chanel
+WISKYgaming Ok, I'll just leave my family in the evening, walk down and measure them for you.
Arent his forearms supposed to be big i mean thats strong grip and his forearms are kinda small for his upper arm
No, forearm size doesn't matter with grip because grip strength is actually more neural than muscular.
@@gripstrength okay thanks for the reply
4:45 awesome
wow a crowd for grip training lmao
PlutoTheGod It was a big organized deal.
I'm close to doing this with 2 55s ^..^
Tag me in a vid brah
Saw this done last night by Justin Major.
Double Old School York's? Where's the video?
They should have just taped each pair together so they wouldn't stop slipping like that
That would have worked, but wouldn't have been in the spirit of the lift. But thanks for watching. I hope you subscribe.
+Jedd Johnson true and no problem dude!
C'mon chaad c'mon chaad c'mon chaad. Really dude STU!
Yes. I already told you this, stupid!
Phil Parker Well, at least you admit to being a compete douche bag, unlike all the other trolls on UA-cam.
+Jedd Johnson c'mon chaad be nice. C'mon chaad, you got this. Just open your mouth and take this load.
+Phil Parker I have 1700 vids. Go ahead and leave a troll comment on each, please. Thanks.
+Jedd Johnson ok, but it's going to take a bit.
Poor chad kept dropping them ,
@amuricankb yes sir.
Dam it! It’s the worse weights plates they gave him. It has to be done with weights plates with both sides smooth flat or at least one side thick enough with no need tp be perfectly aligned to lift it. Chad was strong, plates were trash.
These plates are what the challenge is. They are more challenging than regular plates.
These gym-rats are so delusional about their gripping strength ...I have watched construction workers in the masonry / landscaping trades that pinch grip 2 x 12-inch concrete blocks (88 lbs. each) in the center while moving them around all day long.
If it was a union job I'm sure there were two guys lifting one block.
Captain Hook
You have obviously never done any real work in your entire life to make such a stupid comment.
so true dude manual labor guys depending on the job have some of the strongest grips period. iron workers, welders, masons, dudes that work to fix railroad ties etc etc
if you say so.. I worked construction for some time in my early days, first of all i think those block are at max 50 pounds, second of all, they're easier to grip because of the texture and oftentimes they had a little edge . Also, nobody moves them around all day, that would be redundant and useless work and as far as i remember most guys carried them by the side with a no thumb grip which is easier than pinching. Stop trying to be interesting and go tell one of these guys carrying concrete blocks around all day to go pinch two slippery smooth metal 45's together
Condor Mctapper A.k.a. the mystic touchbutt
Whatever you say, I know what I saw when I worked construction for 7 years, but then again that was many years ago. I'm sure the young pups today cry union rules every time they're asked to do some really hard work. Some of those guys had hands that appeared to be twice the size of mine and I wear XL gloves. Understand I'm not saying these guys carried the blocks a hundred yards but they would pick them up off the ground and place the blocks near or on top of the wall they were building.
com on man u need 2 flat sided plats!
Marc Nuzzo These have flat sides. Are you suggesting plates that are flat on both sides??
COME ON CHAD
Of course his name is Chad.
Lol
so do I!
Damn Right!
Giannis might be able to do this he has a 12 hand and is the All time record of longest hand in the NBA plus hes only like 26 years old the more frip you have on it the better since its soo wide you have to actually exert yourself more a regular person could do a 45 plat with minimal training but 2 plates you would have to have VERY VERY long fingers AND plus giannis isnt your sterotipical skinny nba player hea 255 pounds at 6-11
flat plats put together and it will b so much easier.
Marc Nuzzo that would totally defeat the purpose
A real Chad
Lots of people commenting that! Lol
C'mon chad
Good stuff! He wanted that bad.
This doesn't prove strong grip, it proves how much you can stretch your hand before your grip breaks. A strong grip is when you grasp something and don't let go, no matter what.
Right. Because a very weak person with the same sized hands will be able to lift these plates just as well.
+Ryder Washington You just proved you know nothing about grip strength by saying this feat only tests finger strength. Thanks for the laugh.
Jedd Johnson It's simple, a strong grip means you don't let go.
+Ryder Washington It's simple: there's lifting, holding and controlling. The Triad.
Try it before u comment
I believe Brian Shaw can do it
I'm sure
Fein!
Michael Nowell Is that more slang I'm not familiar with?
+Jedd Johnson It's german for "great"
liam111liam Gotcha. Thanks bro.
No problem.
if he put the flat sides together he couldve done it easy
That would defeat the purpose.
Your a genius..
This is dumb asf, all yah had to do was tape them lmfaooo
Aaaaand that would defeat the purpose of the feat completely. Thank you for the post.
@@gripstrength as easily as brian shaw did this with both hands do you think he would have no problem doing both at same time?
@@MMAFreakofNature I think he would get the double easily, yes.
Real chad
Nice
Feat and a half
most frustrating video I've ever watched
ASDFGHJKL dfghjhgcgyuigfyuij please go through all my videos and rate them in order of frustration they cause you
Interesting. Its from 2011. So do not expect a perfectly jumpcutted-adhd-enforced video.
Star Bro lol the uploader is mad. he hearted your comment
guy is from dragon ball Z lol nice Chad going in!!! them vice grips
