It's time to learn "THE GIT UP" Dance! This viral song and dance was created by Blanco Brown, and today you can learn his choreographed line dance with this step-by-step tutorial. This routine is simple, fun, and perfect for beginners.
Great for weddings, parties, school dances, or just dancing around in your living room!
Stand up and give it try...I can pretty much guarantee it'll put a smile on your face. :)

FIRST VERSE ("To the left...")
Left grapevine
Right grapevine
Left hand up
Put it on your side
Roll your shoulders
Slide left and right
Freestyle for 8 counts

It might take me longer than most people to crush this, but it sure is FUN! Started doing this on my own in the lounge (I am 44) and now have my gamer daughter doing it with me during lockdown. If the dancing doesn't 'flatten my curves' the laughing will do the trick! Thanks so much!

such a gooooood one!!! I had it this easy. But! There's a but. You replayed the chorus a couple of times but it would_ve been nice to replay the other parts too or at least all together in a slow version. Now I have to switch between this tutorial and the whole version video to combine. But the chorus is perfect just after this video so thumbs up!!!

Instead of spinning, try just bringing your feet together and circling (or "spinning") your arms overhead. Hope this helps!!! 😄💜

I’m sorry you’re having trouble with the dance. Learning choreography isn’t easy - it takes time and practice. There are several tutorials for this routine...maybe a different instructor would be more helpful for you. If you really want to learn this dance, keep trying! Persistence always wins. Best of luck. 💜
That's what I kept saying everytime I gave up again. But I kept trying. Everytime I screwed up I would start over at the begining. Over and over. Took me a lot of do overs but finally got it down and I'm 68 years old. So Now I just got to work on looking better at it. Don't give up you can do it and you won't find a better tutorial.
