Hang the curtains all the way up to the ceiling it gives the illusion of the room being bigger and having high ceilings. Definitely helps with long curtains cz if someone steps on them accidently with enough force it will snatch the curtains and the rods right off the wall just a tip ;)

I feel you. I also feel people always loose the words hater so loosely. Someone could genuinely hate the room and someone will call them a hater. But in order to be a hate you would have to want what the other person has or doing and that wouldn't make sense of they dont even like the room. Fyi. It's cute, just overloaded in MY opinion and before i get a hater i was doing this style in my home that i own 9 years ago and i have all this stuff And style..i just styled it grown and sexy. I agree that for me, ALL of the bling to me is too much. However, if you LOVE it, I love it for you. I can definitely say that you made the MOST of a smaller room. The placement of the furniture truly changed things around. You gave me great inspiration and at the end of the day it’s YOUR room so you can do what you want!! Finally a yt queen from Chicago!
I see so many people saying her room is “too much” If she likes it then she likes it. Anybody who loves this room but on a budget go on Facebook market place. I live in Atlanta. I purchased this same bed for $250 for my daughter. In fact there was 4 different sellers on there selling the bed for $250 and the set for $400. Sooooo many dumb AMAZING deals on a daily basis. They have services on there too . For a room that size with paint and labor would cost no more than $300

I paid less than $800 to have my entire townhouse painted. That man took advantage of your desire to have a blinged out wall to even suggest to charge such an outrageous price for that small room. Beautiful!!! If you don't mind a tip for your curtain panels, raise your rods up to ceiling and that will save the material from "pooling" on the floor. You pay too much to be walking on or tripping over them. Hope you truly enjoy your new masterpiece.
