"I treat my scooters like i treat my hire cars".. Proceeds to drive through radioactive zones, mud and deep forests, picking up drunk dudes to have some fun and wodka, yeah, seems legit to me 😂

But his merit is that he visits much less famous and pretty places and due to his talent and sense of humour, these places gain some purpose and become a bit more attractive

I've been to Moscow in 2015 (very underrated and beautifully city by the way!) when Easy Jet flew there from London. Never got to hear of this park (wasn't aware of it). Will certainly make a beeline for it on a future visit! Thanks for the video Bald very entertaining.

Fun fact: That Kyrgyzstan pavilion was originally a Estonian SSR pavilion but around 2009 the Moscow government rented out the building to the new owners who made it into Kyrgyz one. Though you can still see original Estonian decor on the walls. It was rather strange to see Latvia and Lithuania next to each other but no Estonia :P
Also explains about the wonderful fishing culture the Kyrgyzstan has xD

Grilly there was a confrontation between Armenia and Turkey where the young Turks did slaughter a lot of Armenians ( where Armenians also slaughtered Turkish villagers) . I wouldn’t call it a genocide but an awful time where both suffered a lot and maybe a bit more on the Armenian side.

Loved the video, but keep in mind that you've seen less than half of all pavilions. There are so many pavilions outside the main avenue, both neo-classical and Soviet modernist. Some of them just exude massive amounts of soul, like pavilions 36, 38, 56, 69, especially in the dilapidated shape they had been in before the questionable mass reconstruction that began in 2014.
This was great! Really like the “translator” that shares your screen as well (she’s very charming and pretty....you fool).

Please visit Mongolia! It was not in the USSR, but it was a buffer zone between China and USSR. It had a lot of Soviet influence, so it should be very interesting to see!

@@SupremeLeaderKimJong-un I went to Armenia then Azerbaijan and got that question. But when I said I liked it I wasn't denied :P They DID seem disappointed that it was cheaper for a visa to Armenia than it was for their country though.... Maybe they'll lower the price to compete ;)
Arriving at Zvartnots airport the immigration lady thumbing through my passport came to an abrupt halt when she got to my Azerbaijan visa. Asked me what I´d been doing there.

The karelian pavillon was my favourite as well. It has a wonderful wooden carved door. The entire exhibition is so nice, the fountains are worth a mention as well!

really love some of the ornate architecture on those pavillions. but the korelia one is absolutely amazing.
From Karelia, in addition to a drowning pool or lake, they also have a dog that is quiet unless it sees prey, and it's prey us bears, and potentially anything not human- the Karelian Bear Dog. Looks like some of Laikas, but a much more agreeable dog, in my experience.
