I hate playing against Freeze Mage. Not that they're super tough to play against but more that it drags the game on in a passive frustrating manner.

Brett Pierce As a midrange shaman player, freeze mage is a deck that requires legit skill.
Sure it is passive, but sometimes, they just get crappy draws that is a free win.
Besides Midrange Shaman, Freeze Mage does really bad against any druid or warrior.
So it is a fairly balanced deck, gonna suck when it rotates out of standard

Connor Sheehan Yeah because that's completely what I was saying. I've been playing mainly control decks since beta, I have no problem with long games. I don't like freeze mage because the games to me are boring. They just hold off your damage long enough to get enough burn spells to nuke you.
IKR, it's pure draw luck, such brainless deck formula, cheap draw minions, freezes, direct hero damage, fkin alextrazza/+thaurissan, you have to deal fast amount of damage and go lethal on turn 5/6,
i think freeze mage is the true mother of face/zoo/SMOrc decks, they forced us to go face because of their shitty freezes

all you think of is cancer decks as long a they beat u and freeze mage isnt even that good or played lol
freeze mage is cancer not because it's good or played, but because it's disgusting. At one point, you reach a point where you're 90% sure you;re gonna lose over the next 3 turns and there's nothing you can do about it. But you can't KNOW for sure, even though in your heart you are certain. So it eats at you slowly from within.
freeze mage is cancer because it's not interactive, it was on par with the stealth miracle rogue decks where you just can't even do anything aginst their effects

Was wondering about why you were complaining about freeze mage. Then I thought about what type of decks I usually play, control warrior, control paladins with lots of heal, and the funnest to meet a freeze mage with... mill
Played against this deck yesterday actually and I lost lol. But it was for being greedy wasn't expecting many of the cards he played.

or, you clear then board, like use excavated evil on turn 5 after summoning it on turn 4, it can attack when it's alone on the board, or silence it

High legend is the best place for decks like silence priest. People feel less inclined to play aggro and thus you can smash unprepared players.

which leaves us with 4 cards left, my guess is on a second Book Wyrm, another PW: Shield, another Holy Nova and some big finisher like Ysera or Nefarian.

Yes, they have the same MMR.
At least from what I've heard, it takes a while for the MMR to update in the servers, so if you queue up for a game immediately and it just so happens to be the same player, both of your MMR's will be the same.
It's impossible to gain ranks when playing priest, so even if you win, it just brings your opponent's rank down.

Elise is an anti-control card. If you're vsing another control, you usually want her down.
