Hockenheimring was the Le Mans's F1... Long straights, fast curves and chicanes, bumps, engines screaming through the woods... Damn Le Mans only survived because of people using the public roads to go to work when the straights aren't used for racing :( One of the biggest track lost in motorsport...
Can you imagine something more delicious? Being in the middle of the forest, trees, and with f1 cars racing right in front of you with that amazing sound. I wish I was there.
Even today this video absolute priceless...., Misses that McLaren's engine screaming, even I could spot the difference when the car passed, what a great F1 race that was
i was 3 times there as a teenager 1997 - 1999 - 2000.. sittin always in the eastern chicane.. 110 Db... you could hear them coming like a "wave from hell". After they castrate the old historical course, I never went there. They ruined this holy gral... the route was unique and rare. So sad.. and today? No more F1 racing in whole Germany.
For the F1 cars displayed at Hockenheim. The #3 Ferrari F1 2000 is Michael Schumacher who claimed the year 2000 F1 World Title. The #7 Jaguar R1 is Eddie Irvine. But Brazilian Luciano Burti is the substitute driver. The Orange Car is the Arrows A21 car, hard to see in the shade which number is on the car. Pedro De La Rosa #18, or Jos Verstappen #19. The McLaren-Mercedes MP4/15 #1 car is Mika Hakkinen the defending world champion and winner of the 1995 24h at Le Mans. And finally, the BAR 002 #22 car with 1995 Indy 500 winner and 1997 World Champion Jacque Villeneuve.
The car that goes past at 3.05....and then again at 3.30.... it whizzes past and its hard to make out but i believe its a Minardi. The engine sounds very quiet on this car....i found this a little strange?
Never will we see a track like this again and never will we hear that sound again. RIP F1.
Rest in peace, indeed!
Hope this video never gets removed. It's a classic spot along with the track and V10s
That sound is so heavenly, like an angels trumpet. 😍
Unfassbar brutal.

funny thing is, it was actually the owners who decided to destroy the forest section of hockenheim...
Why dont they use hockenheimring anymore?
@@KizzoGoezAmok Because this part of the track has been demolished.
Those Mclarens really are giving me shivers down me spine... Holy fuck they sounded good!
The 2000 and 2001 McLarens made the best noise in the V10 era. Demonic sound, so good.

this sound
I wish this layout still existed.
When F1 was still F1!
Oh yes!
that’s insane how loud the Mercedes engine SCREAMS
great video! i miss the old track

Arguably my favourite video on UA-cam
This is quite an amazing video, at 3:23 you can see an Arrows, the quickest car down the straight ;)
wow fascinating pictures!! very rare in these days. be proud of these records :)
Lovely lovely sound! Wunderbar

I used to love that circuit. I can remember the distinctive sound of the McLaren engine. I miss those special sounds of proper racing cars.
Uma obra de arte.
it's an AMAZING VIDEO!!! FANTASTIC!! 5*
god i miss that sound
Still get goosebumps when hearing this screaming v10 sound. Unforgettable
Was vermisse ich diesen Sound! :(
Was würde ich gerne die Zeit zurückdrehen...
I would love to take this time back, no shitty economic regulations, just racing!
That was really INSANE ! ! ! ! Thanks for sharing ! ! ! ! Cheers #brazil
What a sound !
You are the luckiest person in the world!!! :|
Another gem, thankyou for uploading.
I LOVE F1 sound and speed!!!!!!!!!
Atemberaubend 😮
The real Hockenheim before it was butchered.
And sounds of real F1s, rather than vacuum cleaner noise.
And it still went broke
why germany destroyed the best circuit there was
billy bierbuik more overtaking,more rounds...

Liberal tree hugging shit stains made them destroy it after they built the short layout.

It's really magnificent
Klasse Video !
Very amazing video!
Even your handycam got chills
One of the fastest tracks of F1 before the new circuit
one of the uppermost reasons that led old Hock to be dismantled was the lack of space wherein deploy advs banners
Which car goes past at 3.09? this car has a distinctly different sound to the other cars which i found a little odd? it also goes past at 3.32?
It's a Minardi
The sound of human progress
Amazing
What a sound...
So beautiful
High speed circuit‼️
Helt Fantastisk 😍😍 Da F1 virkelig var F1 🍾🍾

The car that goes past at 3.05....and then again at 3.30.... it whizzes past and its hard to make out but i believe its a Minardi. The engine sounds very quiet on this car....i found this a little strange?
because Minardi used an old Ford engine from 1998 with only 700 hp. Mclaren and Ferrari had over 800 hp
even the car shakes the film
I live a few minutes from Hockenheim so if i am going to be rich ( i hope) ima buy it and restore it
That's the way F1 have to sound!

Damn good. I have a very simular scene on my channel
Hätte ich ne Zeitmaschine, würde ich dahin reisen. 😊
This used to be the norm..
Geeeeeeeeezus, gow sweet it is
3:06 That Minardi engine even sounds weak
Woow F1 sound
When f1 sounded alive
Ecclestone kiboshed this track.
geil
Shame to Hokenheim ☹️☹️☹️☹️
