His last stream had such a weird vibe. He seemed angry but dismissive of the comments saying he would leave after that stream again. Hell, the title was something along the lines of "last stream before I leave forever" or something. Obviously this was a joke but I hope he's okay.
Another benefit: When creators start to mix up their content and break beyond that 200k barrier, any SMITE content that they create after that increases SMITE's exposure.
I really like this positive take. While it's sad to see some bigger creators go, it's good to seem some new faces and fresh energy brought to the scene.
I really like watching your content, but damn I miss Mythy. His humorous take on the game helped me through though times, I’m really glad he is succeeding.
His recent series of metal gear revengeance and Asuras wrath are doing really really well, I’ve only just met the guy and I’m happy for him he’s really sound
Absolute Zero Sometimes I watch him, I watched bloodborne, sekiro, Nioh and Pokemon Platinum randomizer series. But I’m not really into gameplay of those games, if it wasn’t him I honestly wouldn’t watch it. There’s no need to be so aggressive dude, I just said that I miss him playing smite lol.

I’ve LITERALLY just finished my binge of MythyMoo who I’ve only discovered this week, and now my fave smite channel mentions him at the start of the video. What are the odds
Thank you for this vid. I quit smite this season (lack of time) but I'll always enjoy the smite UA-cam content. The smite UA-cam community was always a great side of the game and a break from the game. Smite is enjoyable to watch and it attracted many amazing and funny creators over the years. We should feel proud that PunkDuck and DoubleJ are graduating and welcome the new boys. I'm really grateful for the good times we had and happy we shared this passion from all the corners of the world. 🍻🍻
Hot damn, I just noticed you're at over 60k subs! That's insane! I feel like I've been watching for so long and it's awesome to see how far you've come in such a short time. Keep up the great content.
I'm really, really happy to see you give a shoutout to Thibi, he's criminally under-viewed and he deserves more attention. Thanks Inters3ct. Great vid as always.
I'm a semi new-ish Smite fan coming into the game primarily through the Cthulu update (I played before several years ago but the game didn't grab me). I've played a lot of League of Legends so I generally know the game and I've gotten really hooked in the last month. I've been looking for good Smite content been coming back here generally, but will look up these other smaller channels too. Heck, I may start uploading my own smite videos and become one of those smaller channels you were talking about haha
@@johndripper Myth is a jerk? Wat. Also, FrostFangs is actually a total jerk. That whole PunkDunk situation from ages ago made me stop watching him. Now he just uploads the exact same Paladins videos over and over

Solo isn't leaving Smite he's just expanding his portfolio and I think it's great for him to play other games. Most of the time when I get burnt out from smite I just take a few days or weeks to play other games and then come back.
Ya can you imagine smiting every day for hours and hours. I like that myth double j have gone to make.what they like but we still have the really high tier smite players and most are good personalities as well. We can still get good information and watch for the personality.
IM just kinda shocked they don’t do both. Like unless if they just don’t enjoy the game anymore. Mythymoo puts out a smite video every month but like for doublej he could do one a week
Smite has a real hard insistence on playing Conquest. A lot of Smite content creators solely focus on Conquest and ignore that other modes exist. Solo and Myth played in other modes and had less than serious undertones. Rexsi and Sam are good for fans of Duel but Joust and Arena players don't really have content aimed at them and they are the highest two populated game types, Conquest-only content does push back a larger percentage of the player base than they are willing to admit. It's clear the playerbase isn't nearly as interested in playing it.
there are other channels than just the ones I mentioned, but I wouldn't really consider YS a "small up and coming channel". He's kinda the biggest smite meme/shitpost channel there is. But yeah I still recommend him if you wanna.
I do agree with what you said, but I feel like the reasons why people leave Smite are really not addressed enough. It's fine for people to feel burnout with a game, content creators included, but, at the same time, there should be a lot of people that say "it's just burnout, I'll branch out for a bit and when I'm feeling it, I'll come back". This sort of "no hard feelings" approach is something you see very rarely with people leaving Smite. Punk Duck was an exception, but he had very different reasons for wanting to leave. With the rest of people it never feels like the game stopped being fun for them, it feels like it stopped being fun period. And I'm bringing this up specifically because that's what I'm feeling right now, despite Smite not even being the game I pour most hours into on a weekly basis; it's hard to state exactly what it is, but it feels like every Smite player eventually hits a wall where, no matter how much they try, they just can't seem to have fun anymore. For me it's conquest ranked where, after almost four years of casual play, I decided to finally put my skills to the test. Then, the wall: victories feel undeserved or unchallenging, and defeats stop feeling aggravating and become just depressing. I don't know if that's because my skill level is closer to diamond but me being late to conquest just has me in mid plat, I don't know if it's because I main support. What I do know is that this isn't regular burnout, because I regularly take a couple days off, a week off, even a month off of Smite, then come back for two days and the same exact feeling is still there. I also feel like I can no longer improve in the game; tasks that were supposed to become automatic with experience become more and more mentally taxing, decision making gets increasingly worse, counterplay starts to crumble at the first sign of cheesy strategies, counterbuilding and counterpicking all but disappear and you start to feel ever more sloppy even with your comfort picks. I don't know if anyone else shares this experience with me, but if you do, please leave me your feedback. If there's a chance it's not me, if it's a chance it's something inside Smite, then we absolutely have to talk about it, because it's causing a lot of people to leave. Maybe it's the meta, maybe it's the design decisions, maybe it's the new gods, but whatever it is, we need to talk about why Smite feels so bad for people that used to be great fans
Being from Australia it sucks that they can't handle the OCE servers without having problems between stutter to 300 ping games. Hard to keep wanting to play when they don't seem to give a fuck about anything except making cat skins.
Ngl it’s a little annoying to hear die hard avatar fans trying to main Merlin then say “his damage output just isn’t there” then get annoyed at the game when you try to instantly learn a MOBA, mid, and a difficult god all at the same time. It’s a good game you can try to learn the new avatar skin gods but there are a lot of great gods out there
Let's be honest though man theirs not going to be any new channels. If you're still playing smite it's because you've more than likely been playing for awhile. Smite a shitty game to new players and also hard to learn because theirs not much room for actually growth. You just kinda get shit on for no reason by experiences players and that's why I hate Smurfs they're unhealthy for the game and especially ranked.
I only played smite because at the start of the pandemic, old friends hit me up and asked to play Smite. I had no interest in smite, and in fact, had legitimate reasons to play league of legends over smite (high-school esports) but gave in.
