You seriously have the best travel vlogs on UA-cam. I love travel more than almost anything, like it’s a true obsession of mine, so it’s amazing to see places I’ve never been to before. Especially in JAPAN! Haha. This video is so charming and incredibly interesting. It’s very well edited, has great descriptions of everywhere you go, the pacing of each scene is spot on, and I like how it ends with ice cream! Haha. Thank you, and keep up the awesome content!
Aww, thank you so much! You really made my day and it makes me so happy to hear this!! ❤️ (AND YES - ice cream is life hahahah!) Thanks again for supporting my channel!
Very nice travel video friend. I enjoyed a lot watching it. So excited to go in Sapporo this month. Thanks for sharing this beautiful video. I Watched it till the end.
NICE! 😍It’s sad that many can’t visit Hokkaido now because of the pandemic. I’m a resident here and I can really say that the place is wonderful! I hope things get better soon! Hokkaido is sad without visitors coming in
Torisu, my wife and I with some friends were lucky enough to have been able to FINALLY experience Hokkaido last December. We were there for a good week of fun and snow. After seeing Aileen's vlog here, I realize there's a lot more -- fun and eating places we didn't know about! (Envy, envy!). We're planning to go back there for the Ice Festival in February. Hopefully, it would be safe to travel by then.
Thanks for this, Aileen! Now I know which places we missed. But glad to see here that we experienced the same miso ramen; of all I've tried, I'd say, Hokkaido ramen has the creamiest, tastiest, fullest. If for that alone, and if not for the pandemic...and the Ice Festival, I would be back there in Feb.
Can't thank you enough for this video content. So inspiring and motivating! Your videos have help my video creating content and channel and life so much! Thank you!
❤️ I was wondering whether I should visit Tokyo or Sapporo for my first trip to Japan this year 😉 Ur vlog totally helps a lot 😍 I know where I shoul going now 😉😉
Your video definitely not boring compared to some other vlogger , you take nice shot too... love to explore more on your video, please keep on updating - love from Oklahama
We love and enjoy watching your video Aileen as always! We missed visiting Hokkaido last time in Japan and definitely will put it in our itinirary if we have a chance to go back to Japan again. Winter in Japan looks more fun after watching your video! ❤️
Hi! I came across your vlog while looking for Hokkaido/Sapporo. I booked a trip for early March next year, around the same time as yours. It would be our first time experiencing (hopefully) winter/snow. I was wondering if you would recommend buying snow boots (as in the insulated, fur-lined type from Columbia, North Face, etc)? I know ski resorts and activity places usually offer boots and snow gear for rent, but for sightseeing and walking around the city, do you think it would be necessary as well (since snow is shoveled on the roads). Noticed in this video you wore lighter jackets and not the usual padded/down jackets? Any advise/recommendation would be appreciated. Thank you!
Hey Misty! I'm sure you will love it! :D Regarding snow boots, if it's only for every day use, I don't think it's necessary. Honestly, I was just walking around Sapporo in my sneakers sometimes haha. Just be careful when walking, but generally it should be fine. If ever you will still feel cold in your normal shoes/boots, there are these heat packs (specifically for inside your shoes) that are sold in Don Quijote, and my companion (Lisa) bought that since she's sensitive to the cold - and she loved it! Also, what time in March are you coming? Yeah, I wasn't wearing padded jackets because winter was slowly ending by then. If you're not really that sensitive to the cold then normal coats are fine; otherwise, it doesn't hurt to pack a padded jacket/coat. Hope that helps!
This was such a lovely video to watch! I have been wanting to travel to Japan for a long time however I really love cold weather and Hokkaido is one of the top places I want to see so thank you so much for showing all the lovely things you can do in Sapporo (the food looks amazing) You also looked so pretty in your kimono (the color really suited you) I also liked how you edited it and your choice of music is always so enjoyable to listen to :) :) Stay well~~. =(^m^)=
Chitose Shrine is also a power spot, There is a connection of Kyoto Fushimi Inari, The boss of the company made good sales, and I also took an unusual contract during the winter, so the citizens also put Shinsui in plastic bottles.
I really love your vlogs! The way you edit your vids was phenomenal, I wish I was the same. And I like your travel attitude aswell. You deserve more followers/subs!! Keep up the good work, one of my fav Filipino travel vlogger!
@@iAmAileenTV I give triple credit to you, coz I know how hard it is to roam around the world while just havin a third world passport. Yet you amazed me here and there with your travel destinations. I hope I can travel the way you do
Do you think a half stroked person will enjoy to travel in Sapporo? She can walk and climb a two floor house/building but not that fast. When we roam around malls in metro manila we always carry a portable wheelchair. she walks but shes seats on wheel chair when she gets tired. What do you think? 😊
If she can be warm enough, I don't see why not. (I was a heavy user of heat pads, always two pads on the lower back. 7-11 & other convenience stores carry them, but ask staff to help you; some heat pads are meant to keep your hands warm in your coat pocket.) I don't recall being anywhere in Sapporo (or elsewhere in Japan) which was not PWD or SC friendly. Well, except probably some snow-fun spots, or at that traditional village where you'd have to ascend a rather high flight of stairs and walk in rather deep snow.
You can go up until May, there's a place there called Daisetsuzan National Park and its surroundings (just 1 hour away from Sapporo) that has snow up until that month. :D
Miss aileen, may i ask nag direct flight po ba kau from manila to sapporo? Kasi ang alam ko PAL lang meron pero super mahal. Would love to go there dream ko po maka experience ng snow.
@@jbrixwanders Yes, we rode PAL po. I don't think there are other airlines sa Pinas that flies directly. If not, you can also take a local airline within Japan to fly to Sapporo from Tokyo. It can be cheaper too, depending on the date and airline. (You can check the prices via SkyScanner bit.ly/2oY7PwP -- this tool is always helpful).

Yes, it's supposed to be free. It's only the admission fee that you usually have to pay (during our visit, it was free).

That music in the background sounds Chinese
