It’s the stock hub so I think its works fine
you gotta change sprocket and check chain length as well to maintain gear ratio bro. you gonna hurt your gearbox. i couldnt find anywhere that you mentioned or replaced. 😄😄😄
If you change wheel to 17 inch for a wider variety, you will porbably end up with a slightly taller, fatter tyre, and so the actual wheel radius will be within a couple of % of the original. Given neither the rear or front sprocket change position, I can't see any issue what so ever.

Bro said good bye to speed… your engine will struggle and you fucked the whole tuning of the engine… the engine is made to run with 18 inches wheel… im saying this with personal experience… even i did this and after an engine breakdown, now im back with the stock setup… we shouldn’t mess with these things because these are very risky for the bike
The correct way mechanically is sticking to same rim size and tyre change upto +-one size. Like 100 to 110 or 130 to140. Ref. (Articles, Yammienoob etc)
A good lie does not become true. changing wheel sizes will have speedo error and difference in gear to speed ratio but it cannot fuck up the engine. Maybe you didn't maintain your bike and hence the breakdown. So many people using 18-17 / 17-17 setup without issues. Plus it is impossible to fuckup the engine anyway. Don't spread misinformation

I went for 18 inch front and 17 inch rear alloys from interceptor and meteor respectively. And for tyres i switched to vredestine centauro st
