I love this band. Saw them 2 days ago at El Corazon in Seattle. I love the fact that they play their stuff perfectly live. And the fact that Jordan doesn't use a single trigger. These guys are just fucking awesome.
As I Lay Dying is too badass for them

This song was so amazing live during the Cool Tour! It was my first time seeing AILD live and they definitely didnt disappoint. They were amazing, along with BTBAM and WOA. Can't wait til they come through St. Louis again!
how could the crowd be standing still. im pretty fucking sure anyone who watches the live version on youtube like us would probably be jumping all over the place, singing along, and having the best time of their lives.

@DelanoSeven that would explain the annoying tempo changes and apparent phasing problems.
it actually just looks like they spliced in specific parts from a separate video, but generally kept it the same video.
This album is the best theyve ever made but the old albums still rave :)

Ya know I should have been at their concert not once but twice. The first time after buying the ticket I found out that I had a school concert that I had to attend that same night so I couldn't go. Then my friends decided I didn't like As I Lay Dying anymore and didn't even bother to invite me.
too big of an arena. I went when they had a small show... holy shit dude it was awesome. Look at the ones from the dvd

@Anodyne2010 It's not really "autotune" but I'm sure they do use some sort of voice correction effect like almost all other bands.

i recon to get the best affect they should dub the higher harmony in the clean vocals like bullet for my valentine have started doing it makes the live performance so much better! not saying aild arnt sick live having seen them 3 times :P

@joejoefaqt Yeah dude, the crowd was fucking weak during all of their new songs. I dont know why, considering The powerless rise is their best work yet IMO. I was singing along and getting really into it. AILD ftw.

I was looking at the crowd the whole time thinking how lame they all were. Must've been bon jovi fans. You can't go to a concert like that and expect to sit there and hope that AS I LAY DYING will perform their nuts off for you if you don't make yourself a part of the show! LAME city there. Chicago doesn't act like that at all. When I saw them in 05' with unearth and slipknot, I had whiplash for 3+ weeks, and people were crawling all over everybody and girls were surfing.
Second best on the album! But whats up with Tim's vocals!? they sound terrible, you have a cold XD
