In addition to taking care of her mother, Serra works in a luxury hotel and studies at a private university on a scholarship; Despite his young age, he had to take on great responsibilities. Selim, the heir apparent of the wealthy Kutlusay Family, who is studying at the same university, receives criticism from his family, especially his father İhsan Kutlusay, for his indifference to his studies and his fondness for entertainment.
Serra, who is trying to get out of work and catch up with class, goes to school by limousine as a result of an incident at the hotel, causing all eyes to be on her. While Serra's fame spreads rapidly at school, their accidental meeting with Selim will completely change the lives of both of them.

As I read the comments here, I didn't even noticed the appreciation of Mrs. Berrin being a mother and a grandmother. She is very considerate person, she really showed what really a parents guide his/her children not by indulging them nor yelled at them. Instead, she teach them how to treat and act with descipline, respect and love while correcting their mistakes and guiding them for what are the right descions to make in a certain situations.

One of the best turkish series that deserves the love and appreciation of the world. Serra and Selim were two strong lovers who didn't give upon their love unlike other couples. Every character of the show had such a great story. I fell in love with them and will never get over them. I would give everything for sol yanim to have a season 2 and watch their wedding and just Selim and Serra. Ozge and Tolga are gorgeous gorgeous humans and they make such a good pair. They should be put together in more series.

Love is the creator's truest emotion and not to be taken lightly. Serra knows this inherently as her life experience taught her. I believe they will be very happy together. I do believe Selim as well, as many times as he said it, you can feel that he meant it.

Never did I expect such a beautiful series would end this soon. 🥺💔 I felt very sorry that I found this series after 3 years from its release and it ended with 13 episodes breaking my heart. 💔 While some other illogical series have many episodes sad that this one had a few only. I loved Selim and Serra a lot that they looked like angelic ppl from heaven. So gorgeous they are. 😍❤ Their acting is so beautiful too. I really fell in love with this magical series after watching 12 series. And to say Nilgun and Ihsan were my most favourite adult couple from all the series I have watched. This rich family seemed to have good intentions on poor ppl that they welcomed everyone with a smile on their face. Grandmother's acting and charisma should be appreciated. She was a mother to Selim, Nil and Onur also. Onur is another character that helped the series in a good way. His acting and calmness added such greatness to the role. I loved the way he showed upset and guilt on his way.. As a whole this was a great series. 😍❤❤

It's hard to believe such a beautifully made series had low ratings in Turkey. Is the quality of shows there that good? Sol Yanim definitely deserves at least another 2 seasons to tie up loose ends. Kudos to the actors, producers and scriptwriters. Well done! The lead actors are excellent, the supporting roles are great, the storyline is believable, the attention to detail is impeccable, the score is beautiful, the editing is fantastic - I could go on and on....

I wondered too how such a show should not get high rating. Is it intentional? You never known with them in that part of the world. Otherwise this show is outstanding in all categories of ratings. It is my first time of watching Turkish movies here in Canada and this series really keeps me glue to my devices from the beginning to the end.

Even though most of us here don't understand Turkish, we understand Love because its universal & its forever beautiful. Never in my life have i dedicated my time to a 2+ hours per episode (series) with subtitles to make matters worse.😅 BUT it was worth every read, every episode. Everybody outdid themselves character wise. So happy that Selim and Serra got their happy ending. ❤ Did i not cry a river when Selim proposed. 😭 I swear that boy loves Serra with everything. BUUT my personal favourite is Barbaros, he's such a gentle giant & yeah I'm crushing on him.😄❤

I think this is one of the few Turkish series that don't have useless plots where the leads go in disguise to solve a 'mystery' and other inane tropes. Had characters that are more grounded and interesting story arcs. Much appreciated!

This is my first time watching a Turkish series. Just found this on UA-cam. Beautiful series. All of the actors did a great job. The storyline was also great. The chemistry between Serra and Selim was awesome. I was also hoping for a Season 2, because so many questions are still left unanswered for e.g what happened with Asena, the relationship between Selim's father and Serra's mother and so we can go on. But i'm glad it had a happy ending. Lots of love from Suriname .

I found this series through Tiktok when Serra was dropped by a Limousine going to the University and felt curious about this foreign series and was able to watched them for a week. It was full of love, hate and revelations. I'm looking forward for the next season. ❤️

Burak had moved on and accepted the fact that Serra can only offer friendship with him. I hope Biricik can find that peace too in her heart.
Well looks like I am hooked. I will give this some time and come back to it. This became the focus of my own world since episode 1. Absolutely beautiful series. In addition to the editing, locations, music score there were many lessons for all. The biggest one...? Don't keep things from your partner in life. Be upfront as soon as possible. Where is 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 . . . . . . ? you can't stop now! Thank you to the team who translate in English so we are able to watch this epic so many times. Others are pondering on what happened to so many of the characters...I have my own thoughts:
1. Asena either hung herself or slashed her wrists after trashing her parent's family home and damning everyone else for her own issues. What a horrific shock for her parents😱
2. Selim and Serra become husband and wife, and move to America, she becomes an architect and Selim whatever he was studying
3. Nil has a hard time adjusting, and totally understood. In her mind, "I can't have a child, and now some other woman's child is in my home with my husband. I feel for her, but I think in the end it will work. Depends on the the other woman though.
4. Somebody please find an interior designer who can redo Ishan's flat, what is there now is Asena's tastes. She was fabulous in fashion, but interior design is not her calling.
5. Barbaros and N___. I think he has been in love and didn't know it. They are perfect for each other. Loved his character, that cocky smile and that walk--priceless.
6. Barak is coming around...I think and something tells me that he and Biricik will end up together.
7. Grandmother.....BRAVO I could just hug you all day. You truly saved the day with your love, wisdom, and business smarts. The board room meeting had me on the ceiling. So well handled!
8. Idil, you are an angel
9. Selim's father and Serra's mother will reunite, not sure about Ekran the one who walked out on them. That is hard to forget.
Well that's it...I have enjoyed this journey and hope to see everyone involved in the near future.🙏

I am an Ethiopian-American living in the US currently. I have no idea how I found this on you tube, but I am happy to tell you that I don't mind reading subtitles to watch it. I had no idea that Turkish movies/sitcoms are this good. I watch Korean, Indian, Nigerian and other African movies, but just got introduced to Turkish. Brilliant work guys! All the cast are doing amazing acting, almost real. But seriously, when should we expect the second season? Thanks!

@@nosratjahannisa708 If this series ddn't end up in episide 12, there is more to be seen. Maybe maybe not Serra would would know that Selim slept with Idil. I think Selim is only making Idil his past time. They don't really have a real relationship. If Selim is uptight especially if he is angry with his father who is controlling he'll see Idil. Idil will give Selim comfort in an awkward way and they'll ended up intimate.

4 days ago when I started watching this series and I got really amazed in every scene. And today I just finished watching 12 episodes. This taught me a lot of lessons and it made me realized a lot of things and also the people around me. Can't wait for the next series.....

I believe this series talks about love and pain .. and not even pain of romantic love but love people need from family, friends, spouses,beloved etc …. It’s really tells what people are going through both rich and poor just for them to be heard and to be loved 😢❤

This is the best Turkish TV Series I've ever watched. I love the characters and the plot of the story. I always look at the psychological perspective of each character especially Selim. As human being we need to understand and be compassionate to others, we never know their struggles in life. Reality is cruel sometimes. Love conquers all the odds we encounters
in life.

I have been obssessed with Serra and Selim. I really felt the connection between these two souls which in turn make me crazy when they are having their moments together. I am extremely hoping that there is another season. I can't wait because I really love this movie.
I can't believe this series ended here. This series is really good! 💯💯💯 I like the characters, the plot, and all. I end up sleeping 4 in the morning trying to finish all the episodes. I hope there will be season 2. This is the best Turkish series I ever watched!!!! I love Selim, Serra, Burak and Barbaros!!!!!!! Good work!!

I also finished in 3 days. Best thing I found is that it is a story not just revolving around Selim and Serra. Every character has their own story and not just small side story, a proper story.

Hats off to the Turkish production of this drama series. It is totally watchable with its believable characters. The performances of this cast is commendable. Thoroughly enjoyed the screenplay of the love scenes. The hero and heroine have great chemistry, and you never tire seeing them on screen. A fan from Houston, TX, who learnt about Istanbul’s five bridges.
What is wrong with me people I’m in love with this series. I like that you can just die with a simple kiss or a tear. This series keeps you going for sure ❤

A very underrated series! I am moved by the plot and the scenes! I completed this in 3 days and it taught me so many lessons and learning that is applicable in any viewpoint of life. 'twas the very first Turkish series I've watched and I can say, it got me very well. Superb acts by these amazing artists! Hopefully, we'll have season 2 for us to find answers regarding the unanswered scenarios! It was a simple 10!

Wow first time watching a Turkish TV series and I must say it’s really good. I’m impressed. It’s so much drama, but it didn’t drag for too long. People who are bad got what they deserved and people were given a second chance.
Burak and Biricik (apologies if I get the name wrong), finally come into terms and accepted their fate.
Selim and Serra finally got back together and will go to America.
Even Selim’s dad and Serra’s mom are now in good terms.
Nazlim and Barbar - are together too 😂
I really like the character development of Barbar. He’s a gangster but a good one! Protected Serra like a sister (when initially he used to admire her haha). There’s Selim and Barbar’s friendship 😂
Although, there are few unanswered questions at the end of it. For instance, what happened to Asena, how’s the relationship between Nil/Onur and Maya will be, Ishan and Nilgun’s relationship. Nilgun’s ex-husband. Plus the wedding of the century - Selim and Serra and many other things. I’m also curious to know if Biricik and Burak will end up together.
Overall, I think this series deserves a second season. 😊

I understand Serra not have Father's or any other man's love. Specially when you hate your father. it's hard to trust other man when your father is giving you pain.
Selim was also not wrong. He was just craving for some love, affection, comfort but his father was not understanding or not able express his care.
But,
The way they didn't give up on love.
Despite having lot of misunderstanding, not able to express their feelings properly.
I really really love it when Selim say "Serra" very calmly, gently with love. The way he hug nd kiss her tenderly, soft.☺️
I wish to have my partner like this caring, loving protective.😇

I'm glad that we got some kind of happy ending to Serra and Selim's love story even though I would have loved to see more! It's unfortunate that the other storylines didn't get tied up. Serra's father has just entered the picture. He and Ishan are enemies, but their children just got engaged. It would have been interesting to see how this would affect Serra and Selim and Ishan and Nilgun's relationships. I've seen a few other Turkish shows with cartoon characters (usually the parents) who make the storylines a bit silly. Here, all the characters are realistic and they storylines are intelligent. Still, those shows have more episodes and this one gets cancelled for lower ratings. It's really sad.

The scene in the hotel boardroom when Asena didn't understand that she had to figure out how to repay 8 million out of operations was great. Finally, she can't escape consequences.
