There’s all kinds of stuff like that round eyam. If you go to the top of the hill to the top of sir William hill there’s a good one that drops down the other side too that drops to Abney
Thanks for your reply Iain, I’m not 100% certain but I think I may ridden that, I have ridden right from the bottom of Sir William Hill at the Grindleford end and all I can say about that is I’m glad I have an ebike because with my knees I wouldn’t have managed it, when I did get to the rough loose section at the top I’d forgotten about the climb I’d just done 👍🤘
Nice ride , I was thinking how quiet it was with just a couple of motorbikes and walkers then you reached the huge party all at once . The descent from around 16 minutes in looks really good, how you didnt end up looking like you've been mauled on the the overgrown sections I dont know, usually I seem to end up getting ripped to shreds by brambles and dripping blood from my arms 🙂
Thanks for your reply mate, yep that’s the Peak District for you Bob 😁 but saying that, I’ve been out all day and hardly ever seen a soul, I love those days, and other days it’s walkers three abreast 🤬 I usually get stung too mate, I think most of that was bracken with the odd stinger that didn’t get me 😉
That’s brilliant, thanks mate I really appreciate that, I love XC too, there’s something about being out on the moors in the middle of nowhere mostly on my own flying down some single track that really does it for me, and even more so when the weather is good, next level 🤘👍
Great trial!! Deffo worth the climb!
Thanks Jen, it was a great trail, and a ride I’ll be going back to again especially as my skills have advanced 👍😎

Where’s that at 17:00 ?, I see you climbed up baslow edge, then wasn’t sure where you went then
That’s heading back to Grindleford, where it comes out of the woods it emerges on the Grindleford road down from the Maynard arms hotel
