So lucky to be able to see the Painted Desert at Arkaringa Station . Let’s hope every one respects the country there unlike Anna Creek Station who in 2010 also allowed visitors by road to their Painted Desert until they closed the road access due to poor respect of the land . The only way now to view the Painted Desert at Anna Creek is to do a flight over the Desert which we did to view the desert . Anna Creek Station Painted Desert is very expansive and an unbelievable experience of colour .
Wow, we didn’t know that and you are so right, let’s hope everyone can respect this unique landscape so that travelers can experience this special place 🙏💙🇦🇺
We love this area of the world. The painted desert is just spectacular. We got up early and headed out there and walked around it. Cool experience to meet Glen McGrath. He is the nicest bloke. Glad to hear the locals promoting their community. We’ve loved our two times at a Oodnadatta over the years and had no issues.
Hi guys we too have done the Oodnadatta track from Marla to Maree back in 2022. Also went out to the painted dessert and as we were tenting it, we had hoped to stayed at the accommodation at Arkaringa but the owners were away and we couldn’t get to stay and the ground around the homestead was not tent friendly so we ended up staying out at the Algebuckna bridge area instead. Now we have a caravan we could head out there again next time round!
Another fantastic video, we loved it. You guys are certainly taking a bit of a roundabout route travelling up to the Pink Roadhouse and Arckaringa then back down to Coober Pedy. That sure was special meeting Glenn McGrath, what a champion.
Thank you 🙏 yes… a little detour 😳 we didn’t want to miss Coober Pedy… just love it!! 🍻💙 Glenn was a true legend with Jasper - what an amazing experience 🙌
Thank you for another wonderful video. Good to hear that Ackaringa and the Painted Desert are readily accessible. Definitely adding that to the itinerary. Oodnadatta sounds like a great town to spend some time in with the locals. And Jasper now has a much treasured cricket bat 😊 - what a nice guy Glenn McGrath is!
Hi from New Zealand. Another great scenery show and information given. Yes Glen McGrath towers over Paul as a 6'6 foot bowler, I have often wounded how tall are you Paul. Some of the program the sound Quality isn't that great especially driving in vehicles. The sound Quality of your shows was better 2 years ago. Also Katie's intro in your earlier shows made your show. Keep up the great work, love your show. Thanks again Jono P
Thanks for bringing back some great memories of our trip up there in 2018. Incredible countryside of the best country in the world. You have been visiting almost the same locations (only in reverse) The night skies at Arkaringa are something to behold, we stayed a couple of nights to get the best of the Painted Hills at sunrise/sunset Wish we had spent more time in Oodnatatta now though...next time. Keep up the great content, Safe travels.
Smashing the vlogs!! I just want to graduate uni this yr and get our van and travel. But alas I have to finish uni next year and during next year buy the car and caravan.
@@TheFeelGoodFamily did u guys capture the southern lights? I did last night with my friend and omg spectacular! Definitely have ✅ a box off my crazy 🤪 bucket list.
@TheFeelGoodFamily No, I didn't get to go there when I lived in Australia. I spent a couple of years in South Australia, working on an orchard called Simarloo, not far from Renmark. That was back in the 1970s. I used to tour around on my motorbike a lot, but wouldn't have taken it on some of the outback roads.
love watching your content, any change you include a little footage or give some feed back with your saftey Dave camera monitor. rear vision mount versus dash?
