Classical Tahoe: Kay Stearn on How Nature Inspires Music

In the final days of Classical Tahoe, we asked musicians how the natural environment of the Sierra Nevada, Lake Tahoe and the University of Nevada, Reno at Lake Tahoe campus has inspired their performances. Kay Stern is the Concertmaster of the San Francisco Opera Orchestra, a position she has held since 1994. She is also a Professor of Violin and Chamber Music at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Hear how she describes her experience of playing music under the pines.
