The Snap system is low key the most interesting PVP mechanic I've seen. Rewards you for being confident and punishes you for being cocky all at once

Totally agree. I have won games just by using the snap and psycing out the other player, but I have also lost so many cubes by using it too early and being over confident.
I’ve been playing the game and for some reason didn’t know what snapping was for. I’m so glad I know what it’s for now!
Energy resets every turn. You don't need to save energy. Every turn you get extra energy to spend. 1st turn 1, 2nd turn 2, and so on.
Facts,I learn that in the beginning thinking it was like Hearthstones then it cost me a Game
@@redscorpion9325 It does work like hearthstone. There is no leftover energy in hearthstone either(discounting special effects from cards)

This game has got me snapping at turn 1. Love it
Since upgrading cards give you rewards like new cards, it‘s definitely not a cosmetics-only mechanic. And exactly this is currently annoying me. I could upgrade quite a few cards, but lack the needed credits after not even half a day of playing.
I looove the games mechanics and presentation, but these typical FTP annoyiances really bug me, to a point where just might move on rather soon.
Credits are so easy to earn though

Question about snapping. You mention if you win the round after snapping, you'll thank yourself later. I thought snapping would just up the cubes to win at the end of the game, but they go up after the round too?
Snapping doubles the cubes won every turn, it maxes out at 8. This does not carry over to any match other than the one your playing.
I probably worded that weirdly in the video, sorry about that haha.

I don't usually like card games but Marvel Snap is the one, if you're familiar with their powers. 😉👍
Saying the game is not pay to win isn't exactly true.. you can buy gold currency to buy more credits. Which is used to upgrade cards and increase your collection level. That will get you more cards. While it doesn't impact power level directly, it does give you more cards for better deck building. Which is very powerful.
And they push premium. I don't know if its a one time cost, or you have to pay each season. But there are 3 cards i have technically unlocked through the season but cannot get until I pay the 8.99 or whatever it is
Wait. It is pay to win. You unlock cards with upgrading cosmetics of your cards which you use credits for which can be bought for gold. So you can buy gold to buy credits to upgrade the cards to unlock new cards. The tiers go up to over 10000. The card packs start becoming collector packs

if you're anything like me; yes it is worth it. matches are quick and fairly balanced. focus lies on upgrading your cards to look cooler. no OP bulshit. even losing gives you the ability to upgrade cards.
I have been playing for two weeks now and I am totally addicted, it is so much fun.

Just be aware, there is PTW in this game. Everyone says there isn't, but there is. For example, i'm rank 50 on the season, the season cards are not unlocking. If I pay for premium, i would instantly unlock Miles Morales and Carnage (because of my rank) but until I do I cannot have those 2 cards and they're pretty dang good cards.
I can’t figure out how to use them ??? Miles needs a card to be moved ??? Howwwww please help if someone knows
@@Gigirose777 Easy way, just play Nightcrawler on turn 1. On turn 2, move nightcrawler to another location, and on turn 3 you can play miles for 1 power instead of 4 power.

miles morales is part of the move deck. Carnage is part of the destroy deck. If you want to use Miles, you must have cards related to his keyword, similar to Carnage. What is the problem ? You have to spend Time to play to get those cards, not money! So Pay money to win or Pay time to win?
You can unlock them once the season ends but you only know that later

Started playing today and don't know what to expect from gameplay. This reminds me much more of Gwent than anything else.
Card cost and energy is similar to Hearthstone but I’ve been playing for a while and I don’t understand the point of upgrading cards other than cosmetic details being enhanced.

It's not true that there is no pay to win in this game. You quickly get to a point where the card specific upgrade mats are a-plenty and you run out of credits to even use them. You can directly buy credits with real money and grow your collection faster.
That being said so far it feels a lot more f2p friendly compared to games like hearthstone but saying it has no p2w elements is just untrue

The only thing I wish this game had was at the end of every round the energy would carry over to the next round of you had any left

That would be too op. You'd play no cards in all turns until turn 6 and at turn 6 you'd have 21 energy to play all the most expensive cards you have. Sure opponent can do the same thing but there'd be no real strategy. Whoever had the most powerful cards at the end would win.
Maybe if you just get one extra point on your next turn if you had two or more left over points last turn. That would be nice when you don't have a play that turn.
Games pretty interesting not as complex as ya-gi-oh but still really cool

The game is too hard, you can't get new cards and people can cheat easily.
This game is pay to win. And they paid this guy to say all good words about it. You can buy credits for real money for leveling your cards. So you are going faster in collection ladder and unlocking new cards. You will stuck with the same collection for long time be prepared for this. And yeah watching this video you are watching an add by your own willing.
