What other monitors should I take a look at reviewing on the channel? I'm hoping 2025 is going to bring some awesome new models! Check out the AOC Monitor here: geni.us/AG326UD
Can you ask them when this one will come out. The AOC U32G4ZMN. It has been waited for months and months now. I just don't like the idea of OLED with my productivity apps that is static for almost the whole day (I a lecturer) and only couple of hours in the night for gaming or movies and videos. So, the headache of burn in. That is why I prefer mini-LED over OLED and also over IPS or IPS black as I love the almost blacks in the night especially.
Did you maybe missunderstand what fps are? Or did I? FPS, is frames (generated!)by the PC system. The thing more important with a monitor is hz. Frames generated from your system should be synced with the hz your monitor Displays, so how many times the monitor can show a new frame per second. This can be done with g sync from nvidia or free sync from amd. But testing fps for a monitor review is not the right thing todo as far as I know...???
Doing these sorts of tests to just give people an idea of what sort of FPS they can hit with a top end gaming system. If people want to play games on a 32" 4K monitor, and they're disappointed with the figured shown in the video - then they need to go for a smaller and/or lower res monitor, or drop the graphics quality settings. Had lots of comments around how helpful it was on previous reviews, but those were for odd sized screens (49 / 57") so perhaps these aren't as useful for more standard 4k panels? Open to what you & others think would be more useful though!
Spot on - It's a combination where I'm kinda trying to say "If you have the best gaming PC you can buy, here's the sort of results you can get in terms of FPS' Cheers man!
Agree 100% that it's kinda weird that this monitor is budget oriented paired with 4k resolution... If AOC comes with OLED in 1440p and 240hz i wouldn't mind to skip the expensive ASUS, LG etc... Great video as always...
Re: your request for other games you should test with these monitors, would love to see you test some of these in triple screen format with some of the popular racing sim games on the market (iRacing, ACC, etc.). I'm building a rig with the intent of running triple 32" screens and I'm having a hard time as non-techie guy figuring out whether my 4080 Super pre-built can support something like this.
@@PeteMatheson sure! im just hoping i dont wish id of spent another £300 to get the 240hz version, although tbh at 4k high end cards will struggle anway!
I just received this monitor and im loving it so far I just have a tiny complain idk if I did something wrong when putting it together but the monitor feels loose/wobbly at any movement on the table/monitor itself. Is this how is supposed to be?
Right now I am tossing between this and the MSI MAG 321UPX which is on sale for $40US more. I am kinda leaning toward the AOG because I am not playing high frame rate competitive games anymore. I would happy sacrifice the 240zh down to 165hz and take the USB connectivity. The MSI has none. -The biggest red flag is that Australia does not cover burn-in warranty. You guys in the US and EU are very lucky. We not only pay more, but often get shagged with worse warranty policies.- Edit: Contacted retailers and confirmed that AOC does have 3 years + Burn in warranty.
Bro I bought the AG346UCD version to this, I Notice the box has a dig a small puncture it's on the side of the box that has the OLED Logos and the 0.03ms logo etc Can you tell me if that is the back of the monitor? or is it the side of the box with the screen? is there a logo on the box that tells you what is the front and back of the box?
Does AOC make a larger ultrawide version for the OLED display? Would totally buy that, currently looking for a budget ultrawide OLED monitor for productivity.
@lixingchen8293 I just purchased the aoc agon pro 346UCD which is a 34inch qd oled ultrawide that uses the same panel the alienware aw3423dwf uses. It goes for $600 in the US and unlike the alienware it has dsc so you get the full 175hz refresh rate at 10bit color in hdr.
Oh yep it's all controllable, and hooks into the software too. I always find the lighting on the back to be a little pointless. They need to commit to proper Govee type bright LED strips on the back or nothing :)
It set off my OCD lol. But then I have seem some crazy videos of 'pro' gamers who push their keyboard up to the monitor at an angle with their eyeballs against the screen... is that how you're meant to play? lol
Greetings! I buy this and alienware 32 4k model qd oled , what for ours are better , my requisites are triple A games , and watch streaming on Fire tv stick 4k

@@PeteMatheson okay right. If the test was about the system then it makes sense. Maybe I overheard that

Man this will be a perfect upgrade for my ps5 pro 🎉

great video buddy! have you tried the msi version of this monitor? MAG321UP (non X)
Thank you! Not actually tried ANY MSI monitors before (only PC components like motherboards etc) - worth checking out?
@@PeteMatheson oh cool, i just picked one up in the uk from very for £650 should be ariving soon, it has usb c too and anti glare coating ;)

If cyber punk can only run at 72 fps, then would you able to tell the difference between a 144hz monitor and 240hz monitor while playing cyberpunk?
@@GregKealey no you need to hit 144 fps or 240

Does this monitor have a built-in heatsink on the back? like other brands
Hmm that Rgb lighting is a bit meh. Guess you can turn it off.

Can't help but feel the RGB/Angular design that has become synonymous with gaming is outdated now.
