Her musical addition lies in the NOW. Not funky 90's, not hippie 60-70's, not Rococo... NOW. This is excellent - an original song that hasn't been written by the numbers, produced for good listening, a great pace and energy and tones, without being served up with mini-skirted girls dancing in unison. This sounds like mature pop music, the way it was when pop music was good.
I caught some of Katy's afternoon set at End of the Road last Friday and was blown away. I also managed to catch "secret gig" in the Tipi later that night and it was just as good so as soon as I got home I booked a ticket for her Village Underground gig in December. Definitely one of my best musical finds for many years ❤

She is from Bristol UK. She had a group called Ardyn but it didnt work out. Her first solo album is out in November. She still writes with her brother Rob.
I know there is so much post production goes on. But her voice sounds eldritch, hecate, and fell.(Yeah yeah Rhiannon). I'd love to see her live, but if she turned out to be as mundane as me. We'll, that's another bubble burst. I just love the slightly out of phase double track..hairs stand on end. I get the same feeling walking down the beach with m & d' s dog.. Tingly.
