Hi sunny!!! The situation over here in Singapore is the same, shops do not display stock for sale and only the VIPs get allocated the popular models after building up their credit with the AD. I was told by the sales staff that actually they have stock locked up in their safe but need to do pairing to get the popular rolex models. For example the AD here would require a pairing of the less popular brand like hublot, and that will give u a priority to get allocated a rolex sub. Last week I saw in our watch forum a lady bought a rainbow big bang unico and the next day she got a Starbucks. My friend also managed to get a 5980 after spending quite abit this year. Please do a vlog exploring the grey dealers that will be cool!

It really is a sad situation - a new collector has no chance nowadays to build up a purchase history with Rolex and others in order to even qualify for the demanded pieces.

關於鐘錶市場的狀況，其實就跟所有的供應商一樣。
1疫情的關係減少產量
2真正高端製錶師量產手錶的數量有限
在以上這兩個前提之下，他們發給供應商的數量即使不變的情況下。
因為疫情不能出國，大量資金湧入奢侈品、汽車、3c等商品，房地產，而導致供需失衡。
假設原廠的態度都是一樣不超定價賣出，但經銷商一定會加價賣。其實就跟晶片一樣，是供應鏈裡面有人在囤貨跟哄抬，而不是發貨的人。因為原廠需要顧及得層面太多，原廠只需要保有它定價的利潤就夠了。但勞力士有意無意的會顧及二手市場上的價格，其實這點跟麥卡倫很像。還有原廠必須維護跟經銷商的關係，以及供應鏈夥伴的關係。
所以在可預見的未來，原廠如果保持穩定的供應量，那些囤貨的人一定會嘗到後果。甚至有可能低於定價購買到熱門表款，我2022/5/29說的這篇文章，Well see

香港的Rolex也沒有熱門款，但没去到台灣般空舖一樣，而排隊，也是騙人的，那天去改錶帶，店員也說可以排隊，但他也坦白說，基本上有貨也先給VIP, 反而朋友在瑞士替我排了半年，真的排到最後停產前的Explorer I，正價沒抬價

It is about the relationship with the ADs at this point. I received my no date sub in two weeks after calling my sale associate in NY.

謝謝Sunny的分享，那天想直上勞犒賞自己才發現這圈子跟黑洞一樣，投資客也是很多，太單純以為3-40萬就可以買到自己想要的錶款，跑了幾家都沒貨，就去買Tudor GMT，戴起來也是很不錯。Rolex 我等那一天景氣不好或金融海嘯的時候，再入手了！
好在我去年疫情期間就先入手
Do you understand if the economy is bad no one is able to afford a Rolex. Sport Rolex at retail is none existent. I recommend an air king.
