the ladies' tunics are beautiful - looks like embroidered silk ones (but I am no expert in textiles, so cannot be sure); so exquisite and unusually rare indeed in operaland..
Dear Mok Lee, I like to watch Teochew Opera. I love the sound of their singing. But I am sorry that I had hard time to guess what is going on because I don’t understand any Chinese language. If you please just substitute a little bit in English, I would appreciated . I really love to watch their acting or their performances.

陳三五娘這齣戲在潮汕跟閩南地區都是經典，畢竟故事就是潮州女跟泉州男的姻緣。加上兩地語言相近，以我一個台灣人來欣賞潮劇是完全沒有距離感的。既親切又別有一番風味。黃丹瑩是個美女，老是扮彩旦有點可惜呀！

潮剧的帮腔少了许多,也沉闷许多,也失去潮剧应有的特色。不像以前几乎每句唱词最后三个字都有帮声,较热闹。但不否认装扮和服饰漂亮很多,有点像越剧的装扮,赞! 进期的潮剧小生的声线都很好,但旦角的唱腔大都不'咬弦',声音的辨识度不高。不过看到许多有潜质的年轻演员愿继续传承潮剧传统戏曲,不怕后继无人,值得鼓励,加油。
