    "You don't see many Deuces" I own an 02 FXSTD/I and go on rides at the local HD shop, I'm usually the only Deuce in the group. Went on a ride one morning and there was another Deuce in the pack, we talked about how rare it was to see a Deuce. When we got back from the ride there was another Deuce at the shop, we started talking with that Deuce rider and again we spoke of how rare they were and how unusual it was to see three of them together. While the three of us were talking a fourth Deuce pulled into the shop and parked. It was like a convention and every Deuce in the area was there.
    Just thought I'd share this story.
    Love my Deuce.

    I rode an 82 Sportster for 29 years until it was lost in a garage fire in Nov. 2015. Found a 2001 Deuce on Craigslist in April 2016. Two owners, carbureted, Screamin Eagle II pipes, very low (6400) miles, and it looks and runs great. A world of difference!! Didn't know about the cam chain tensioner issue until Id had it for a couple of months. Had it checked out and so far its fine. Didn't take long to fall in love with it, and I know I could never go back to the Sporty.

    First Harley I rode was a 2006 deuce. Absolutely love it. Had only ridden once before that, and that was on a dirt bike.

    I have an '01 Deuce. Not really a Harley guy when I got it, and figured I'd flip it. Four years later and with 40k miles its been a solid bike. I'm really impressed with the overall feel of quality it exudes. The fuel injection has been trouble free for me.

    0:54 I bought a 02 Duece about a year ago . First one I've had , runs real smooth. Bike does have alot of miles ( 69k) but I've already put S&S cam chest hypo oil.pump , lifters bolt in cam and freshened the heads port and polished .Really happy with this bike .

      I’d like carbureted Harley’s just because of the idling is music to my ears but the fuel injected ones are not much different than any Japanese bike with aftermarket pipes.

    I wish you were still selling bikes man it's so sad that you don't. I was going to buy my first bike from you a few years ago and ride it home but then I watched your video announcing that you weren't selling bikes anymore. Ended up getting ripped off by a Harley dealer but oh well

    Hi 👋 Great Bike, I had my first new bike in 2000, DEUCE, sadly I had to sell it in 2019 , 50,000 , I still looked new, I was scammed by my ex female partner, I then moved to France, 2019 , I have just bought another DEUCE, 2003 , now in 2024 , this one needs some work , it as not being looked after very well, in the process of changing final drive belt, and just ordered from HD in France then was told that delivery was 4-6 weeks this sucks, not like it used to be, back in the uk , it still is a great bike, stay safe ride free, France

    The Deuce was more expensive than the Dyna by far, but doesn't handle as well. It has classic softail looks, and gets a load of attention. If you want to look cool, get a Deuce, or grow a beard. I, chose the former route.

    Absolutely love my 2004. Fell in love with it at first sight, bought it 4 years ago. 14 inch apes, +2 forward extensions, lowered 2 inches in the rear. Longshot pipes, with a good flat spot worn on the lower pipe from the curves. It has carried me across 13 different states from NY to Florida multiple times, and has never let me down and remains the most comfortable bike I've ever had.

    The center of gravity on the Deuce is lower than a standard Softail by about 4 inches.
    This gives it that feeling of weightiness.

      I started on this bike. Never rode before. Took the MSF class as well. My opinion if you are sure you have control of your throttle and understand it’s heavy and it has a lot of low end power you will be fine

    • @djhood1586
      @djhood1586 4 роки тому +1

      Yes I agree I wouldn't say it's a beginners bike by far I've put 12000 miles on it since I had it and I love this thing. I would say that things to keep in mind the weight, 21" front wheel ,17" back wheel. You know what they say though you give up performance for style And she is a beast of our own

    • @daryanprescott7027

      All I got to say is the first bug bike I rode was an 06 Deuce. Second bike I had rode, and was the second time ever riding. First bike I rode was small dirt bike. Not necessarily a beginner bike, but if you can pick it up off the kickstand and handle the weight go for it.
