The Rams have mostly rebuilt the OL for the future…totally a must with an aging future HOF QB. You’re right - the remaining big needs are both tackles. Bowers will be great, but the Verse-Fiske tandem may prove to be more important to future Rams success.

Rob Havenstein still has a bit of rubber left on those 32 year old tires, but next the next draft must address quality youth at both tackles. The left takle spot is scary but like y'all say, if it's okay with Les and Sean it's okay with me. Thanks fellas, keep on pushing.
And don’t forget that the Rams have two great receivers who are pretty young-Kupp and Nakua-and where Stafford knows exactly how to connect with! You want to keep that close connection going as long as you can!

I kinda think the whole Brock Bowers thing was a smoke screen!! Everybody and his brother knew the Rams needed an edge defender!! Hell they took 2 edge rushers but did not go after another decent TE prospect.......... Nah It was a smoke screen.

Great observation lol why didn't they go after another tight end in the draft if it was a much needed desire? Not even in the late rounds did they try to get a tight end to fill in. We already overpaying higbee, sign Parkinson and have a developing allen davis.

totally agree and have posted this before. No way he's done, he does not need training camp. I think if he sees the rams at 8-4 or something and either in first or second in the division he will come back, at least for this season or sign a two year contract so 2025 could be another superbowl run

From a fan standpoint, why are you guys talking about a player that’s didn’t get drafted by the Rams? Brock Bowers has no impact to our team and very insulting to the players that were drafted by the Rams. Focus on the players on our team, f everybody else!

People act like Stafford is "old" when more and more QB's are winning in their late 30's and early 40's. John Elway won two late in his career. With a good o-line, a tight and efficient running game a stellar WR group, the Rams have a real shot and I say they get that ring THIS year.
He is wildly injury prone though. Even last year ( a healthy year for stafford in comparison) was missing games and getting hurt vs the lions playoff game. He is iffy compared to some other older qbs

Against the Lions, his throwing hand hit a guys HELMET that was coming to smash him. Stafford is a killer, he plays hurt, if he has to sit out, you know it's bad.
I'll take him over SO many other QB just on his ability alone, with a stellar O-Line, he'll throw TWO WR's to over 1K yards, watch him do it.
What's the historical longevity for other all time strong armed quarterbacks compared to stafford? Names I can think of is farve, Elway, Dan Marino, Mike vick, maybe russel wilson? Maybe cam newton?
For now, it is the trench play I am thoroughly interested in... one injury either side, and poof, a season at risk...🤷♂️

A) Stafford will be the Rams starting QB for as many seasons as he stays healthy and wants to play. B) The Bowers coin flip thing is the silliest thing I've heard in a long time. Even if the Raiders DO take Arnold there's no guarantee that a) Bowers falls to #19, or b) the Rams are able to trade up for him, or c) the Rams would have taken him AT ALL. To say Bowers was "almost a Ram" or anything close is pretty ridiculous, imho. Personally, I love the idea of Bowers in horns, but I'm quite satisfied with the results of the draft.

Brock Bowers I mean who knows but I can see it as something like a Christian McCavry who was so good coming out of college and he went to this rotten team the carolina panthers which I just hated that team and he ends up being unbelievably great. The rams missed out on him and I think the may regret missing out on Bowers. Of course if their defensive picks do turn out to be great then that's ok also.It's all speculation

Rams haven't shown they can use tight ends consistently lol they have some talent but they just don't use them well enough in that system. In the superbowl loss with the patriots and goff they didn't use their available squad when they needed to. They have talent now so use it

I've said the same thing about a good TE. I think that by the trading deadline that they should kick the tires on Kyle Pitts and see if Atlanta is willing to move him since he's only had one really outstanding season. I think that if he comes to a team like the Rams that he will rejuvenate his career.
