Love the Vitra system. Went for it purely based on James’s videos. I have a back to wall pan so just needed the concealed cistern- no mounting frame. Was easy to fit with my DIY skills however I did hit a snag with the flush pipe. I had mounted the cistern very slightly (a few ml) too high due to where noggins were etc so it wasn’t perfectly 90 degrees coming out of that elbow. The pipe had to run fractionally downhill from the elbow to the toilet. It was hardly anything, however, result: leak. The slight misalignment clearly deformed the rubber so it allowed a drip to pass. I tried to find a fixed one-piece flush pipe with a preformed 90 bend online but couldn’t get anything to fit onto Vitra’s cistern. Solution: half a tube of silicone round that joint. Mounting frames clearly force that joint to be bang on 90. Anyone using just the cistern where the flush pipe is the only point of contact between the unit and the pan, make sure you are spot on with your measurements or prepare to bodge it up with gobbo.
Lesson well learned Mike, also cut back the flush and soil by 3mm to avoid damaging the O ring plus chamfer both pipes and lube well before insertion Ps. Avoid silicone gobbo at all costs ???
@@VitrABathrooms1 thanks. I can get into the void behind the toilet where I have the cistern and it’s still watertight. Completely cocooned in silicone though. Everyone comments on the loo. Flush plate looks really good quality, the cistern is quick and quiet to fill up. So impressed. But it’s just a toilet. No bidet. Next time…
Thanks Jimmy, that's a very cool product! Hygienic, aesthetically pleasing and designed with consideration for the installer with regards to ease of fitting and future maintenance. Top marks Vitra, they are my go to every morning
hi great video. if you have 2 bathroom only divided by a stud wall (100ml), and you can only place the 2 toilets back to back. Would you be able to fit this system back to back or would it be slightly staggered (if so by how much?)
Hi Stuart, thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, we do not have any adjustable legs available for this product. I will pass this information on to our product development team for future recommendations. Thank you.
Question I have a problem with my waste pipes under my sink I often get a odorous smell from the plug holes and when I unscrew the plug hole there’s a sticky brown substance which I can clean away but it returns ever 5/6 weeks I feel this substance is further down the drain pipe I have used liquids which you can buy from supermarkets but it has no effect there is no drainage problem only this smelly substance I promise you I’m not put anything down the plug hole only dishwater can you give me any advice ?
Hello, at RRP the cost of the Vitrus cistern/frame with integrated bidet function is £764 and the toilet shown ('Sento') is £495. It's also compatible with two other styles of toilet ('M-Line' and 'Integra'). Hope that helps!

Great video mate have a great weekend james 🙏❤️🇸🇪
Perfect timing as I want one of these but was wondering about fittings. This vid just sold me on it.
GEBERIT UK do a WC and Bidet all in one, very popular in France, so I'm told.

Good Saturday morning to you sir and your family from Wellington Somerset
@plumberparts can you make a video for installation of bidet seat to a wall hung toilet. If you could it would be really helpful?

Have you checked out the Luxe Bidet Neo 320, seems to be the most popular one…
No height adjustment legs? Floor must be perfectly level to avoid gaps at base of unit?

That sticky brown substance might just be someone poohing in your basin. It can happen!
@@tommcdonald1000 well it doesn’t taste like excrement / Faeces
