bands like moi dix mois, nightmare, malice mizer... visual kei, is what got me into music, now im into metal, alternative, emo and play guitar but come back and listen to this stuff all the time and i dont even understand most of what theyre saying (im american)
Where I come from {Indiana, America}, it is as though moi Dix Mois doesn't exist. People, here, are too focused on what's popular and they put up barriers that blind them from the truthful meaning of life and love. I used to be one of those people, regretfully. Had it not been for me taking down those barriers and being myself and thinking with my own mind-- starting about 12th grade, I'd have never discovered Moi Dix Mois. Through these truthful eyes, I much appreciate the lyrical genius and...
Nothing wrong with french, they're both pleasant languages. I like this sound, first time listening to the band. I enjoy how the keys and back up vocals fit in.
You need to consider the fact that less than one percent of the people in japan speak English. So needless to say, you don't get a lot of opportunities to practice with someone of native English tongue. Same goes the other way around for foreigners trying to speak Japanese. I know plenty of people who speak fluent Japanese, but just cant switch tongue.
but were talking the other way around here and it goes the same way, my band consists of 4 japanese buds and i, and play when i am in japan. we practiced a 6 word line "you were all that i had" as a back up vocal... sometimes practice doesnt always make perfect... we'll im not sure i believe that, but certainly not in a few hours
@CountessKitty18 well, I guess the style clothing belongs to a style of music ...well.. is used with it. And, it is japanese gothic music...lolita just adds the specific flavor to the style. ^_^

I dont mean to make this somthing, but not everyone can do that~ i can speak japanese and picked up the tounge because i have acquired a roll to R's which help with japanese~ when i lived there though, a small percentage of the students actually aquired a tounge for it. and thats not a couple hours, its years of practice...

Moi Dix Mois is real. Truly talented band. Everyone of them are very artistic. Gothic Metal at a high calibur, assuredly. :D
