Coming back to these two jigs after listening to 60 minute compilation. The energy of every interpretation you do makes me get my guitar and I just start playing along. I am still listening for the first time to some of the older tunes you did. Anyway, just wanted to comment to wish you all the best and to thank you for beautiful music.
Hi Peakfiddler, I found your channel while looking for an example of Father Kelly's, and since then I've become absolutely hooked. Playing along with you is such fun -- suddenly I can't seem to keep my instrument in its case. Thank you so much for sharing your considerable talents! ☺
Good morning, Mr. Peak Fiddler, from Vermont, USA. First time I've had a listen to Blonde Maggie. Another fun Peak tune! Notation for it available anywhere? Peak Fiddler fan club here would love to see it!
Hi Dorothy, I have located the notation but feel it requires a little work, please drop by tomorrow ar some stage and I should have it sorted by then as a set of the two tunes, because I have just notated the flowers jig as well.
Never mind - I see you have linked the sheet music below. Thank you! Are these original compositions? Also what is the lute type instrument you are playing? If I were to try to play this on a regular acoustic guitar what would the best tuning for it? Standard? DADGAD?

Sounds Lovely. Is “Blond Maggie” an original composition or a classic song? Would love to find sheet music for it.
