Ole miss here, congrats lsu.. Y’all beat our ass, score didn’t show that but the game did, y’all hung in there and played like a champs.. see y’all next year! Hotty toddy
Kelly is such an articulate, thoughtful, and grounded coach. LSU is so fortunate to have him and the players are growing and learning. Congratulations 🐯🐅👏👏👏
Now THAT is defense. We shoulda saw the pressure coming. At least more than what was talked about. We knew that had a suspect oline, we knew our edge rushers were good, and we knew Baker would send pressure. Recipe for success. And the backers and DBs played well. You can see the coaching, the development in these guys is top tier stuff. Nuss with two clutch 4th down throws. Man what a great win
Blake baker and the crew got these boys improving at a drastic rate and it’s crazy with the amount of injuries and lack of depth we have! Future is bright
We knew baker would come through it was just a matter of time! The whole staff is awesome right now so we will continue to get better just pray we can keep this staff or most of it atleast for the next 2-4 years and get a natty out of them before any of them leave!
Great gritty, gutsy win, but again Nuss made two bone head plays on those INT’s, but Nuss played the part of Superman on his last two throws. First, on forth down he throws one of his best passes I’ve seen him throw, a 23 yard NFL anticipation strike for six. And his second throw, his first pass in overtime, a 25 hard back shoulder strike to win the game. And you can’t say enough about the defense, our boys played lights out, yes they didn’t shutout Ole Piss but they stopped them from hurting us. They kept the game within reach until the offense woke up and decided to join them. They sacked Dart 6 times and pressured and harassed him all night, give that defensive staff their flowers, last year OP scored 55 in a shootout win, this year 26 that’s great progress. And thanx to the LSU crowd, they brought that hostile, aggressive, intimidating atmosphere that gave our players the energy to fight in and win that dogfight. Celebrate the win for 24 hours and then focus on Arkansas, no let down loses, GREAT WIN!!!!!
Wow. Just wow. Great to not get too emotional and go for two. I felt wed lose and he gave the D a chance and Garrett has ice n his veins to make a throw like that after all the adversity
I need Nuss to utilize his legs a little more. He had a lot of real estate in front of him on some plays where he could have picked up positive yards but, he's always looking for the splash play. Make defenses respect the possibility that Nuss can take off when things break down. Nuss showed tremendous grit tonight!
He’s afraid to run fearing getting hurt. The coaches need to get on him he’s being selfish. JD 5 is a good example of willing to put it all on the line. He’s good mentally reading defense but his fear of getting hurt??⚜️
Love my tigers! They played with heart! Just wish our o-line could run block. And nuss needs to make better decisions and hit his open man, not the go to man for the play
I love this win but “they” HAVE to help Nuss learn when the defense bails in coverage and gives you 10 yo 15 yards of green he needs to reckon and run…. He really is an all around athlete that needs to be taught to trust what he sees!
I told pple Major Burns need to play more inside he is not a FS Or cover he need to be more in the box and Sage ryan needs to play more FS and i think we found our Outside corners Stamps and Alexander
I just don’t ever agree with his assessments in his posts. Nuss made some good plays but if he makes smarter decisions we wouldn’t be struggling going ahead early and putting teams away.
Kelly has a tendency to be overly-optimistic in post game press conferences after victories. Yes, this team fought like hell and was able to pull it out. But that still doesn’t change the fact that there are some serious deficiencies on the offensive side of the ball. Kelly better find a way to fix them because 9-3/8-4 is looking more and more likely.
Brian Kelly is too nonchalant play calling at that level needs to be better. Defense is always on point but offense is def lacking better plays 💯 Tiger for life
That was easily One of the most balanced and fair game by sec officials I’ve seen in a long time. Lsu and ole miss both got really hurt by calls multiple times , and even when lsu would get called for holding or a pass gets taken back , it was always the right call.
I thought our offense was terrible I don’t know how we won. Brian Kelley is not a good fit for lsu. He shouldn’t be happy with this win. It is week 6 and we can’t do shit on offense. I believe it’s a mix of bad coaching on helping nussmeier grow bad play calling and just setting yourself up for failure on short downs and 4th downs with the running style they are trying to do. It’s so obvious they need to change some things and they don’t.
We have this defense last year we win a natty
Ole miss here, congrats lsu..

Geaux Tigers!
I remember those days 😂
Major Burns was the shit too. He was in Darts face all night
Yes, at Safety he was getting major burned all night. Played great in the star
Major Burns is more of a in the box safety he is not a cover safety

What a huge win! The Tigers were behind all game Long but never gave up! 🎉
Just wait a few years with all of this talent we have coming in the next class and possibly the 26’ class. We are going to be a problem!
honestly unbelievable what baker has been able to do despite the ridiculous amount of setbacks roster wise
We knew baker would come through it was just a matter of time! The whole staff is awesome right now so we will continue to get better just pray we can keep this staff or most of it atleast for the next 2-4 years and get a natty out of them before any of them leave!

Hella of victory!!
No dought the line was amazing
Awesome game TIGERS💜🧡💜🧡
Thank the Lord that Weeks is full time bad azz
Congratulations LSU
I can't help but think if LSU had this defense last year, we would be National champions again.
don’t forget that “defense” last year gave up 55 to a worse ole miss offense.
@@YoGarry I was specifically referring to the defense that played Saturday night.
@@YoGarryreading is really difficult
Defense fantastic job ,Way to pull through for the win. Bayou Bengals great win and heart.

Offensive line was incredible, hat's off!

Thank you Tigers for digging in and pulling this one out. I’m in Mississippi pulling for yall like no one else! That was a shootout.
Nuss, calm ,Collective ,mentality not to reflect on what happened the minute before but just to keep going won this game

I agree Justin, knowing he can and will run changes a lot of how you attack us.....
Yep, he needs to learn to run
We are not asking him to run into heavy traffic but when you see 20 yards of open field get what you can, slide and keep the chains moving.
Bk that guy man give him credit
Love my tigers! They played with heart! Just wish our o-line could run block. And nuss needs to make better decisions and hit his open man, not the go to man for the play
It was nuss’ 7th start in college dude…..take a break
that doesn’t matter he had a bad game😂

Idk if CBK will win a championship especially w nil / transfer era and Texas moving to sec (another conversation) but the guy can coach.
Next years class can win a championship. The talent coming is one of our best classes ever.
Texas hasn’t played nobody I’m not sold at all. If they do that to UGA I’d change my mind
I don't think nobody else is Harold Perkins elite but they dominated, "That goes to coaching "

Ole Miss took way too many penalties (12 for 110 yards). O-Line was bad.
Brian Kelly is too nonchalant play calling at that level needs to be better. Defense is always on point but offense is def lacking better plays 💯 Tiger for life
Sloan is a great QB coach but he is way in over his head as a OC at this level, maybe or hopefully he will get better as the season goes along.
@@issacwatson5310 I agree I realized the coaches on offense was trash & Brian should of fixed it
Need a qb
Ole miss had 12 flags can't beat the ref
That's all on Lane. The Refs actually helped Ole Miss!! Revised the touchdown call with no clear replay.
That’s correct, you need to stop giving away so many penalties! Better coaching is needed if Ole Miss are going to reach the next level.😢
That was easily
One of the most balanced and fair game by sec officials I’ve seen in a long time. Lsu and ole miss both got really hurt by calls multiple times , and even when lsu would get called for holding or a pass gets taken back , it was always the right call.
Hard to play in Death Valley prime time bud .
The refs took so many big LSU plays away.
