the nervous "maybe I like this?" was LITERALLY ME LMAO - I LOVE Kitsch so much, but that chorus took a hot minute to grow on me, but it's one of my favorite songs right now...I don't know how IVE manages to never miss with their music, but DAMN
The chorus was the part I liked most on my first listen!
They’re the second industry’s chameleon. They remind me a little bit of T-ARA, every concept suit them 👏🏻
I actually never considered them as concept chameleons but they actually are from what we’ve seen so far. I think they’ll have a very diverse discography in the years to come just like Gidle!
Their style does reflect the old kpop days a lot, but I think you mean second generation it took me a minute to ge tit:")
I think the concept is elegant in everything they do
"Elegance" in general makes sense for them concept wise. Wonyoung kind of embodies that.
I loooooove the yujin appreciation this is her era (as always obviously)
At first I didn't like kitsch at all but damn the more I listen to it the more I liked it, at the moment it's one of my favorite songs, I am was love at first sight, i love the high notes, the video, the way every girl shine I just think it's one of the best comebacks this year so far, ive never disappoints, you can either love them or hate them but you can't deny the fact that they do really good music

IVE concept actually since debut is Self-Love/narcissism concept and Chaebol-Crush Concept.
the self love / narcissism concept is mostly seen on their lyrics and meaning behind their MVs while the Chaebol Crush concept means is more on the vibe that they give which is the rich, expensive and elegant style/vibe.
one thing I love about this two concept of IVE is it can fit in different genres or music styles. which is why if you would noticed all of their title tracks are different from each other but you can say that it's IVE.

IVE’s concept is Chaebol Crush (rich, luxurious, and the likes) and the main view of their songs roots from narcissism or loving one’s self.

I wasn't sure on Kitsch at first, but I've had it playing everyday since.
i got same reaction like u when i heard Kitsch, i feel it kinda mind blowing between the bridge and chorus but it grown on me & damn i kinda obsessed with it rn. Then for I AM, i feel this song got me so emotional & goosebump bcz their powerful and melodious vocal
I really like how the song feels dynamic and keeps the energy level up.

To me, Ive’s essence is one of the “it girl” but not in a girl crush vibe but a more elegant, rich girl vibe, if that makes sense. They know they are bad a*s but they are gonna show you in a more refined way. ❤
It's only April and we got some amazing songs already. This slaps at such an elite level. The thing most new kpop fans really have to get used to is the hi-notes compared to lower range in western music. This is what I'd throw at them. It's amazing and ive just brings it. Can't wait to hear the whole album, dives just got blessed. ❤👏👏

I like Kitsch vibe than I Am. At first, im also confuse about liking the Kitsch chorus or not, but its growww on me. Its on my repeat song list!
For I Am, i loveee the pre chorus! And yeah, Yujin really know whats her capability. I feel the members really grow in this first album and shout out to our main vocalist Liz, i really like her movement on this 2 video.
For the album, Heroine is one my favorite b-sides too from them❤ They did some variation on b-sides which i think you will like some of it. Enjoy!

For me, (and I insist on this since most peeps can't read properly and are ultra sensitive lol)
IVE is ruling over the 4th gen with Purple Kiss, NMIXX and Le Sserafim... These 4 groups are insanely good like forreal...
And as much as I like "Kitsch", I still prefer "I AM". This is THE song for me. They outdid everyone including my main bias group, TWICE !!! They already got PAKs with Kitsch but I smell PAKs coming for "I AM" too lol.
The song is soooo good it's on its way for SOTY 2023 for sure. Everything about it, the instrumental, the melody the girls voices and high notes, the rap, the message of the song itself... I elevated listening to it like for real. I'm on the next level of my life now lmao. Also the MV quality is absolutely crazy.... Lights, CG, visuals, sets, styling, theme... Unmatched !!!
Lastly, the girls visuals are out of this world... I mean DID U SEE Jang Wonyoung ???? Like really ??? WHO gave her the permission to look this good ??? O_o

Wish you would've reacted in order of release...kinda lost out on the full experience this way but great reaction still. Kitsch very quickly grew on me and I Am instantly topped my Top Songs playlist for the year so far.
I know most people are here for I AM since that was released yesterday. Watch data usually shows that people skip to the most recent song if I combine it with something older
@@KpopPrince Not trying to be rude, seriously I dont mean any ill intent, but you underestimate/undervalue your viewers and subscribers in this case if that's what you think. Im not the only one to comment about the out of order viewing either.
Its only been 2 weeks, so Kitsch is still a fresh release, and hugely popular still and topping charts with over 100 PAKs... it may as well have just been another title track...I highly doubt the majority of your regular viewers would have skipped the Kitsch reaction unless they just did'nt like the song. Not to tell you how to run your channel, but just a suggestion, maybe watch in release order and put out 2 videos if its analytics you're worried about.

@@sopranoshelley I didnt necessarily say they were wrong, I said they were undervaluing the viewers by putting analytics before the experience. I get why he did it, but honestly I would have rather he not even mentioned analytics.
I wouldnt have skipped the Kitsch reaction, because I and I'm sure most would have wanted to see that reaction equally. Analytics are important but also have a little faith in your viewers and your content. Its also a bit insulting to subscribers and regular viewers to not think we would watch the whole video after the long breaks he's had between uploads lately. And If he's worried about people skipping why even bundle the reactions? What if people click off after I Am? Then he has a audience retention issue. I get why he did it, but honestly I would have rather he not even mentioned analytics.
