I love how you strongly discourage us from this style since the pressed ones are better. I will just buy some more singles from the indies :)
😅
OMG I was waiting for this video, your opinion is the most important to me.
Same for me and probably a lot of other people. That goes for any multichrome release from any company. Milly is an expert in this niche of the beauty world--plus I believe she tells us her real opinions, whether favorable or unfavorable.
@@fourducksoriginal true!
You know I came straight here to see the iridescent one ‼️ it actually didn’t look too bad compared to the others
This release was such a surprise! I thought ColourPop would wait to see if Kora collection sold well and either tweak formula or quietly sweep it under the rug, lol.
I guess they hope these will be popular for festivals or social media?
These look a bit... crunchy. I could see them making my ancient eyelids would look like an accordion. Maybe they would be good for stencilling or FX. Your eyeliner look was great, btw.
I would *definitely* not spend $14 on these when there are so many better pressed powder shadows.
I don’t know how I missed this release. I love your comparisons - you always remind me I have something similar in pressed shadow form. That Inferno shade from Shine is amazing 😻.
i feel like they went the liquid shadow route because they can get away with using a lot less pigment than what is needed in a pressed shadow or even one of their super shock shadows. even then $12 is pretty expensive for colourpop. i agree jelly much shadows wouldve been better especially because they are water activated so they wont go to waste like liquids will when they dry out.
I must have mis-spoke because I meant to say jelly much shadows would be worse because they dry out and most people I think wouldn’t want to have to keep adding water to revive them
@@badtothebrow ah okay! i just know from experience with colourpops old liquid shadows that when they dried out they smelled rancid so theres definitely no way of bringing those back lol
Thank you for the review and thank you for trying it with eyeliner! 😍 I'm happy colourpop is trying something different but i already have my die hard favorites from clionadh and terramoon which are really hard to compete with! Maybe if they improve on formula or come out with some unique shades, i'd try them out! I do like their water activated jelly much shadow. Hopefully they'll offer that in chrome!
I never have luck with liquids, my pressed ones are so pretty and versatile. Back when multichromes were starting to get big in the indie world, I wanted Colourpop to make Super Shock multichromes forever, maybe we'll see them soon.
You made some excellent points about the pressed versus liquid. Good attention to detail.
I love the honesty ❤
🎉 love your reviews & expertise, Milly!!
Yayyyy. I’m so excited to watch this && hear your opinions. I wanna see them do single multis and I feel like it would work wonderfully in the jelly much/supershock. See you later and same vibe swatches are my fave.
Thank you for demonstrating this so thoroughly Milly!! Really appreciate it ❤
So helpful ! Thank you !
This is my first time watching your channel, your eyes are so beautiful I love the color and shape!
I think CP will need to reformulate or try this in the Jelly much shadows…hopefully in a tube and not a pot. The Jelly much shadows would last sooo much longer if they came in tubes like the ones from Kaja beauty, plus the formula seems better suited for multichromes. I agree though that pressed shadow overall is the way to go
Honestly, I’d rather either get one of your pressed shadow dupes or spend $4 more and get an amazing liquid shadow from sugar drizzle.
Have you ever tried Looxi? I love them. They are affordable and really nice. Theyre only 2.50 - 3.00 a piece and I think could give some of these 20+ dollar shadows a run for their money.
I have close to 30 Looxi shadows and while their mattes are fine, the duo and multi homes behave so weird on my kids. The colors are beautiful but throughout the day they not only disappear but they end up under my eyes! It’s so weird. I never ever reach for them.
Thank you so much for this video! Very thorough and helpful 👍
Call them Obligatory Annual Holiday Offering, only much too late for any holidays that they'd have sold well for. They seem pretty standard formula for how other brands have produced liquid shadows... honestly in that regard I'm most impressed with the even coverage they appear to offer.
I've also been having trouble with my Kaleidos eye shadow primer not helping my shadows to stick, prefer my Hourglass primer. Thank you for the swatches and honest review! I brought a few of these and agree with you. Always rushing so I'm going to stick with my easier shadow multichromes. Your looks were pretty!
Your reviews are so helpful. 🎉
thank you for doing this video. i have hooded eyes and thought this was a good alternative for my makeup in the south so i dont melt it off. but with the way it crunched up on your eyes... im started to second guess if i want to get this.
I'm glad u reviewed these. Personally liquid shadows don't work for me, they grip on my lid texture.
I bought the blue one. It was nice but i had a hard time blending it. It dries out but i managed.
Amazing review!! 😍
Great review!
Super helpful. I’m going to skip these and stick with the pressed formulas.
Thank you for this, going to pass on these and try out indie shadow multichromes! Also I really wish aurora struck would come back in stock, waiting impatiently lol.
😂❤🎉❤🎉❤😊Thank You!!! Yeahhhh xoxo
Yeah, CP's multichromes pretty much performed as I thought they would. 😅
Do you think any of the liquid chrome can be used alone or do they need an eyeahadow base below?
Out of all the brands you've compared today, which ones are best for hooded eyes in terms of little to no creasing? I have the Korra ones and even though I liked some and not others shift-wise, they held up very well on me. Some of the ones you've shown that have better pigment and shift I hesitate to buy because they look very emollient or flaky.
Very helpful
The liquid version of these duo chrome shadows are beautiful but to hard to work with. The powder versions are much better.
Most liquid shadows are just too much work for what they are for me. I'll stick to powder shadows for ease of use and sparkliness
Rly trying to channel how unimpressed u are with these 🙈 I don't need em
I’m hoping they bring these out in pressed eyeshadow form
Perhaps a video of the best of each shade and their price points
