@@budrud Once the laning phase is super one sided like that you are not allowed to just play safe. For example, if aphel lulu wanted to play safe, they cannot even stand inside the xp range and get perma denied. Once a team is in such a huge deficit, they should be going for those 2 for 3 trades because there won't be any opportunities for 1 for 0 or 2 for 0.
At least have enough xp and gold regardless of if they die or not, then group when objective is up. That's the only option they had since MAD played the early game so well, and limited the macro options for T1.

Hahahahaha love the optimism in Game 1 without keeping in mind WHO is playing on T1. If a "losing" team has a bad start but the players are individually just way better than the "winning" team - you better close the game in under 20 minutes - see game 3. This series was like watching Platinum players take on Top 10 Challengers, even in game 1. Not a single team in the West is in any way close to the top Eastern teams. That's just the way it is - even if it's sad.

@@emceemikey I do realize it, because I've already played Challenger players a couple of times. Been there, suffered it. And it's exactly what we saw in Game 1. They recover from a deficit by just playing teamfights better and superior macro. They just stall until the gold gap is solely closed by skill and the rest is just pure suffering.
Except even an average LEC team should be able to close out the game with the lead MAD had in game 1. There is no way any of G2, VIT, KOI or BDS lose from that position (The question is whether LEC teams can be in those positions in the first place). MAD is just special in the way they throw games. They threw game 3 of winter final vs G2 in a similar fashion. Almost threw vs FNC this split as well.
