I am SO glad to hear you say you like to use black. I have for so long always felt guilty whenever I would pull out a tube of black paint, after hearing artist say you would never use it. But I think from seeing you, and some others, that using black is perfectly acceptable. Thank you!!

I'll be 52 in October and I never saw that method of scraping the knife to add detail to a painting, in this case the gravel path. Where in the world have I been hiding?? Amazing technique, and those holes in trees to show sky behind is nuts, has a photographic quality to the whole painting.

Yep, I covered a hole in my floor with a bed spread. Unfortunately, the tenant in the unit underneath me was very adamant in her remarks to me in finding a more structurally resilient solution.

Beautiful and great job! Can I do this in oil? I don’t have acrylics.
One painting i used every single hue mixed with black. Bcz black is blue, with yellow it's green, with red it's purple, with blue it's blue....the black just took advantage over mixing with blue bcz it also has gray effect.

what kind of canvas are you using? When you painted the sky it was like you were using a paper. My colors didn't blend like that at all
