Hi Swizzyinsg, Congratulation on this wonderful new we Singaporeans also happy to know that you can stay on great. With this new job maybe at the sometimes you can also can look around for any job if possibles. This is just our suggestion only but we do hope everything work out great for you take care.
I'm a bit confused. If you have your own business did you need to apply for the EntrePass first and then the Epass to be hired under the company? In that case, you would need to hire Singaporeans, make a certain amount of profit etc. for your company?
Good stuff. I’m an American wanting to relocate. I work in hospitality and am hoping I can get hired on or transferred over by one of the larger hotel brands.
Super helpful video! I’m on a DP and have applied to well over 200 jobs but the competition in my sector is so high. Also hiring company needs to pay monthly for S Pass so makes it less attractive. Can you tell me if the minimum salary for EP still applies with the route you went down?
How much capital was required in your company for you to get the EP? 2 years worth of qualifying salary amount? I'm planning to move from Tokyo to Singapore to launch my startup. And planning to come on an EP.
Because There are more skyscrapers in Bangkok, Thailand, more large shopping malls, more large supermarkets, more convenience stores, delicious Thai food, and beautiful beaches like Pattaya and Phuket.
Hi,,,can i search for a job while i am in singapore as a tourist?? İ have tourist visa for 3 months but will i be able to work in singapore if i get a job ??? İf the employer select me for the job will they able to convert my toursit visa to work pass??? Thank you
S Pass is almost exclusively for people from certain countries, South Asians, Chinese …Someone from Africa for example will almost never get an S Pass.
@@Swizzyinsg General rule of thumb in Singapore is that jobs that do not require very high qualification are (when open to foreigners) not open to the whole world but just to the nearby countries…there are always exceptions… it is usually harder to get an S Pass than an Employment Pass for a non Asian ! more competition for lower paid jobs…
I don't think it is "almost never". So far as I am aware, there does not exist a single case. We prefer not to have Africans over here in Singapore. Unless they are rich, in which case, all is forgiven :)
@@OudPlayerHBY You are sorta right. But it is not so much geographical closeness, as it is cultural closeness. Hence, Malaysians getting preferential treatment relative to Vietnamese. And so forth.
Very strange that Swiss women keen to live in Singapore , I used to travel to switzerland as Aussie man ,to be honest it’s pretty better than Singapore, even the Thailand is pretty much convenient and cheaper …………
I still don't know why would Westerners from rich European/ American countries would want to work and stay in SG. It's so small and stifling. It baffled me.
As a white girl from Switzerland, why go through all this trouble to move to an overexpensive, unaffordable, humid, tiny, boring, government dominated city? Singapore best serves as a base of operations, would never live there long term. Far as I know majority of Singaporeans would rather live in Switzerland. Either way, wish you all the best!
@@heavymetalrox268 completely disagree! For me singapore combines the best of both CH - SG! Its safer cleaner better weather more convenient better food!
Downvoted, because of your other video complaining about your difficulties in securing a work visa. I like most of your videos. But no shit, lady!!!
