    Hello, how is the heat transfer rate calculated in Abaqus? Does HFL represent the heat transfer rate? I need to compare theoretical results with the analysis values, but the HFL value is showing twice the theoretical result.

    Is thermal conductivity and specific heat coeff basis on SI units or some others? Or you took them random? Please late me know asap i am in big confusion with this thing

      its probably SI. Abaqus lets you define the units of the metrics you use.

      he`s just inserting A and r into the exponential function; A is a constant of 2.0 and r is (x-0.5)^2 + (y-0.5)^2, so r is the distance of any point from the torch; I presume he is subtracting 0.5 from x and y to account for the torch thickness
