When you were so impressed by Adele’s run towards the end, I thought, just wait until you hear Angelina’s version of that same run! And sure enough, you were blown away! Yes, one of Angelina’s best covers ever. Adele is a great singer, no doubt. But Angelina is one of the all-time greats!

At the end of the bridge when she sings "shah-oh" (show), that has become my all-time favorite "Angelina moment" surpassing "dhow-un" (I Put a Spell); "gaw-whan" (Ain't No Sunshine); and "guh-oh" (Stay). One of the distinctive features of her uniqueness and her genius, and I can't think of any contemporary singer who matches it, is her pronunciation and play with words.
I don’t know a single artist that can match Adele besides Angelina. She also brings out such emotion when she sings which is why I preferred her version to Adele’s.

Two great singers. Adele deserves credit for being the author. Angelina jazz singer, we can say she creates a sculpture with her words and we see her, which is rare, accompanying the singing with the body, becoming part of the sculpture herself.
Pontus, the emotion you feel comes from "The Angelina Effect!" Her Voice affects your brain, your soul, and your heart. I'm in my 70s and tear up when Angelina sings to me; that is how she affects all her Angels.
Let me start by saying Adele is a great singer and an even better songwriter. Having said that, I don't know how anyone listening with unbiased ears can honestly say that they don't feel more of an emotional connection with Angelina, especially listening to them back to back. To me, it's really not even close. Angelina goes to a level that no one else can reach.
Having watched Angelina’s journey from winning NGT to now, it’s understandable how this song’s lyric “I was still a child” could be very relatable for Angelina, and how she’s able to connect so emotionally with it. Seeing her perform this song it really hits me that even with her long career and success up to this point, she is still a child, and how impactful that realization is. It really emphasizes for me how special she is, and that we are privileged to be witnessing the rise of “Astar” 😄. Thanks Pontus!
I was worried Pontus, all this time spent not reacting to this cover of Angelina ... 🤗 😂 They are two incredibly gifted performers technically and vocally, as well as very empathetic, but only Angelina gives me the feeling of being captivated by emotion. I have really lost count of how many times I have listened to her sing this song, yet my heart still squeezes, when I feel her flying so softly between the beautiful lyrics of the song, she is absolutely an emotional amplifier (if that makes sense) and she is incomparable to me. I loved also the way Angelina wanted to reassure us about her grandmother's health, she did it with infinite delicacy and sweetness, their heads side by side almost counterbalancing the emotional detachment that Adele writes about in the song. Hi Pontus, I have been following Angelina since I first saw her on AGT. I am 79 and have now developed a daily habit of looking for reactors to her. When I find a reactor that hears Angelina for the first time and marvels at what they’ve heard, I am able to relive the feelings I first had. Thanks for your reactions.

Now, what I don't know is if this is a normal reaction one would have with other artists. I simply don't know (for myself) because I've never been so enthralled with any artist like I am with Angelina. I'm a 55 year old jazz/rock electric guitarist...and I totally dig the way her guitarist used a little distortion with a jazz guitar during their opening song right before the majestic "Mount Everest"... Angelina has done enough cover songs...and I hope she doesn't eventually end up changing her vocal sounds like Adriana Grande did...

Let's just say Angelina considers it is a privilege to sing a song written by Adele. She admires her very much. Adele's reaction to Angelina's covers of her music? How can she not admire Angelina and understand she has been given a gift to sing in such a way as to bring listeners to tears "every time"! I have written on several occasions about a moment , down the road one day, when Angelina will meet up with Dimash to address the world about how important love is in our world and that it is essential to make the world a better place to live. Well, I believe there will be another day when Adele and Angelina meet on a Concert stage and won't that be spectacular! Pontus, I'm so glad the video ran those few precious seconds after you said good-bye to us because, the way you sat there, contemplating what you just witnessed, is exactly what every reactor who listens to Angelina does. Adele processed her divorce on this album. It is so deeply personal and intimate. Her sensibility makes her music so relatable. She says what we don’t want to admit to ourselves in our darkest hour. I think the secret of her and Angelina’s allure is their sensibility. It wouldn’t surprise me if they are both INFJ ( the rarest Myers-Briggs Personality Type - making up only 1-3% of the world population) Angelina lacks the life experience, due to her young age, to pick up these deep felt emotions and yet she does and interprets them with a depths that is way beyond her years. Imagine what music she will write as she matures and her life experiences reflect in her own songwriting. It will be amazing.

I am 62. Couple years ago I accidentally heard Angelina’s UA-cam videos. I do not want to listen anyone else except hers! Her voice is magical. You hear it once and you are addicted to it. This song she is much better than Adel. Her vulnerability through the song won this competition. The other thing I like her so much is her kind heart. Unlike some other successful child singers, they changed completely when they turned into teenagers. But Angelina still keeps her politeness, kindness, and sincere. Bravo!
Brother, Pontus, Adele wrote another beautiful ballad that is a huge commercial success, as it deserves to be. She performed it beautifully, but IMO, Angelina’s riveting and deeply soulful rendition made it a master piece. As always, I greatly enjoyed your reaction to Angelina’s breath taking performance. That shot gets to me every time. There is just so much there, and without a word being said. This is why I am not a reactor. I would never make it through a video. It would just be how many ever watching, and watching me cry the whole time. Plus I seem to really be able to piss people off without even trying. So I just stay where I'm better suited. WOW, I just now noticed her putting her hands in the air when she sang, 'give up'. This is about my 30-40th time watching, but definitely not seeing, this video. The hardest part about the, 'ey, ey, ey, easy on me is getting out in 'time'. It is so easy to chop it too early, or hold on to it too long. Then what comes after is so hard to "get" that note right on. Then the next phrase is just beautiful to listen to. The bare feet at the end, sublime. She does it again, as usual. I think Adele wrote a great song, I think Angelina just squeezed that fruit and bit harder and got more juice out of it. Thank you so much, Master Po, for another gracious reaction. Two great singers. Adele deserves credit for being the author. Angelina jazz singer, we can say she creates a sculpture with her words and we see her, which is rare, accompanying the singing with the body, becoming part of the sculpture herself.
Pontus, the emotion you feel comes from "The Angelina Effect!" Her Voice affects your brain, your soul, and your heart. I'm in my 70s and tear up when Angelina sings to me; that is how she affects all her Angels.
Let me start by saying Adele is a great singer and an even better songwriter. Having said that, I don't know how anyone listening with unbiased ears can honestly say that they don't feel more of an emotional connection with Angelina, especially listening to them back to back. To me, it's really not even close. Angelina goes to a level that no one else can reach.

Having watched Angelina’s journey from winning NGT to now, it’s understandable how this song’s lyric “I was still a child” could be very relatable for Angelina, and how she’s able to connect so emotionally with it. Seeing her perform this song it really hits me that even with her long career and success up to this point, she is still a child, and how impactful that realization is. It really emphasizes for me how special she is, and that we are privileged to be witnessing the rise of “Astar” 😄. Thanks Pontus!

They are two incredibly gifted performers technically and vocally, as well as very empathetic, but only Angelina gives me the feeling of being captivated by emotion. I have really lost count of how many times I have listened to her sing this song, yet my heart still squeezes, when I feel her flying so softly between the beautiful lyrics of the song, she is absolutely an emotional amplifier (if that makes sense) and she is incomparable to me. I loved also the way Angelina wanted to reassure us about her grandmother's health, she did it with infinite delicacy and sweetness, their heads side by side almost counterbalancing the emotional detachment that Adele writes about in the song. Hi Pontus, I have been following Angelina since I first saw her on AGT. I am 79 and have now developed a daily habit of looking for reactors to her. Hello Pontus. Great show today. Thank you. You mentioned that the covers by Angelina tend to grow on you and I have had that experience with most of her songs. Now, what I don't know is if this is a normal reaction one would have with other artists. I simply don't know (for myself) because I've never been so enthralled with any artist like I am with Angelina. So, if one loves one of her songs (like you loved this one), just imagine when it grows on you! Thank you for the extra effort that you give on this channel.

Let's just say Angelina considers it is a privilege to sing a song written by Adele. She admires her very much. Adele's reaction to Angelina's covers of her music? How can she not admire Angelina and understand she has been given a gift to sing in such a way as to bring listeners to tears "every time"!
I have written on several occasions about a moment , down the road one day, when Angelina will meet up with Dimash to address the world about how important love is in our world and that it is essential to make the world a better place to live. Well, I believe there will be another day when Adele and Angelina meet on a Concert stage and won't that be spectacular!

Angelina exit of the long worded "E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-ASY ON ME" was a lot smoother than Adele's rendition. There are many little things that I like on Angelina's version.

Adele processed her divorce on this album. It is so deeply personal and intimate. Her sensibility makes her music so relatable. She says what we don’t want to admit to ourselves in our darkest hour.

I am 62. Couple years ago I accidentally heard Angelina’s UA-cam videos. I do not want to listen anyone else except hers! Her voice is magical. You hear it once and you are addicted to it. This song she is much better than Adel. Her vulnerability through the song won this competition. The other thing I like her so much is her kind heart. Unlike some other successful child singers, they changed completely when they turned into teenagers. But Angelina still keeps her politeness, kindness, and sincere. Bravo!
I don't know why and how Angelina is not more famous. She is better than most of the well known Grammy singers I have heard so far.
Brother, Pontus, Adele wrote another beautiful ballad that is a huge commercial success, as it deserves to be. She performed it beautifully, but IMO, Angelina’s riveting and deeply soulful rendition made it a master piece. As always, I greatly enjoyed your reaction to Angelina’s breath taking performance. That shot gets to me every time. There is just so much there, and without a word being said. This is why I am not a reactor. I would never make it through a video. It would just be how many ever watching, and watching me cry the whole time. Plus I seem to really be able to piss people off without even trying. So I just stay where I'm better suited. WOW, I just now noticed her putting her hands in the air when she sang, 'give up'. This is about my 30-40th time watching, but definitely not seeing, this video.
The hardest part about the, 'ey, ey, ey, easy on me is getting out in 'time'. It is so easy to chop it too early, or hold on to it too long. Then what comes after is so hard to "get" that note right on. Then the next phrase is just beautiful to listen to. The bare feet at the end, sublime.

Angelina is an amazing songstress but we have to remember she is also still a kid. Her handlers do a fantastic job chaperoning her in the right direction. I pray she continues to make great choices as she grows into a young woman and begins to exercise her own agency. She is still only 16 years old. wow
