The guy with glasses (Wonwoo - pronunciation is Wonu) doesn't sing so much in the video because it was some time after his mother passed away, that's why. I love your reaction ❤
While it is true this was shortly after his mother passed away, this isn’t the only reason why he had few lines. Since they sing snippets of their songs and mostly highlights of them, his usual parts just didn’t come up. Jun barely had any lines either They did however likely rearrange it to lessen his lines a little
@@Nermal83I heard from another carat that they picked those certain parts of the song so wonwoo didn’t have to worry about singing and rapping so much since he was still grieving. I could be wrong. But I have seen a few carats give that same explanation. Which makes sense to me
@@Nermal83 I understand, but I just said something that I saw a lot of carats always talking about, literally in every killing voice reaction video. Sorry if that's not true, but it makes sense to me.
@@jessicaglass was that Carat privy to other info we weren’t? Sorry for being the devil’s advocate here, (lawyer) here but I just don’t like spreading something without proof 🤷♀️
@@Nermal83 Well that's the reason why they had to choose snippets of songs without Wonwoo's parts as to not give him pressure. Also Jun sings MORE than Wonwoo in here, that's me speaking as a HuiHui.
the last song, "aju nice" is their official encore song in every concert. there's a time that seventeen did it 15 times in their concert on a loop...15 times in that same day concert!!! even the members are jokingly saying to stop the encore, they're tired basically. it was so genuine that even DK (the kindest of them -- my bias wrecker) jokingly shout "stop". it was hilarious. it's definitely a good feeling to end the concert.
I want you guys to know SEVENTEEN more deeply...because I know they are really great...they are not just K-Pop idols but they are like family to each other...the warmth they provide is extraordinary
As you may know, Seventeen is one of the Kpop industry's very first self-produced idol groups, this means that the members of Seventeen are the ones that create everything themselves, with help and advice from Pledis Entertainment's choreographers, songwriters and rap producers when needed. But the majority of everything you see and hear is created by the members and the professionals are only consulted or asked to assist to bounce ideas off of and to finetune things, etc. When they debuted Pledis Entertainment was a really small company that had almost no money, and Seventeen had to learn how to make do with what they had a lot of the times. That's one of the reasons why Seventeen became a self-produced group, because it saved the company money if they didn't have to pay songwriters, producers, choreographers, etc. to come up with everything for them, and it just so happened that they had some really talented members who were excellent at songwriting, choreographing and producing, etc. Seventeen was instrumental in Pledis' success. Similar to how BigBang pretty much made YG Entertainment what it is today, Seventeen was the group that played a large part in preventing Pledis from going bankrupt. The songs in order of performance in their Killing Voice are: "Adore U," "MANSAE," "Pretty U," "Oh My!" "A-TEEN" "Snap Shoot," "Run to You," "Don't Wanna Cry," "Home," "Our Dawn is Hotter than Day," "Darl+ing," "CLAP," "Left & Right," "HOT," and "Very Nice." This Killing Voice performance is supposed to showcase Seventeen's outstanding vocals, so what you are hearing is a compilation of some of the best parts of their songs that highlight their vocal abilities. They debuted more than 9 years ago, so they have a lot of songs. You are only hearing a small fraction of them and only a few lines of each of the songs (And in some cases -- like with "Pretty U" -- they are singing lines from the middle of the song, so it may sound different when you listen to the actual song.) This is a LIVE performance with 100% live vocals. The way Killing Voice is set up, the last song -- unless it's an encore song -- in any Killing Voice performance video is the group's or artist's most recent song and the one they are promoting at the time of their performance, which is why they always sing the full song and not just a few lines. Therefore, as you saw, this was a comeback for their song "Hot" and we got to hear the whole song. Fun fact: Mansae doesn't really have a clear meaning, it's more of a cheer that you say in Korean when you are happy, similar to "hooray" in English. As they said, "A-Teen" was an OST (original soundtrack) song that was wrote for a Korean web drama series called A-Teen, so the song is telling the story of the characters in the drama, not talking about anything to do with the Seventeen members necessarily. One of the reasons they chose "Very Nice" as their encore song is because it is one of their most popular songs, and it's what has really made them famous. You can hear TV shows and commercials all over the place in Korea using this song. And on top of all that, it was wrote, composed and choreographed in part by them, so they are all reaping the rewards. :D For example, the majority of the songs you just heard were written by Woozi (the small blond) who is the leader of the vocal unit, with the help of the rest of the vocal unit -- Jeonghan, Joshua, DK, and Seungkwan. Hoshi, who is the leader of the performance unit (dancers), most often creates the group's choreography along with input from the other members of the performance unit -- The8, Jun and Dino. And S.Coups, who is the leader of Seventeen and the leader of the hip-hop unit, usually writes the rap sections with help from the other members of the hip-hop unit -- Wonwoo, Mingyu, and Vernon. (Wonwoo didn't sing/rap very much in this video because I think he was still mourning his mother's death.)They are so hands-on with everything they do that some of the members have even directed, produced and edited a few of their MVs. Seventeen's name comes from the fact that they have 13 members + 3 sub-units (Vocal unit, performance unit and hip-hop unit) + they come together as 1 group = 17. Their fandom name is Carats -- like Seventeen carat diamonds. And their symbol is a diamond. To find 13 young men, who really didn't know each other before becoming a group, that are so multi-talented is impressive. And the fact that they are constantly able to come up with hit after hit and maintain one of the top spots in the industry all on their own, makes them even more mind blowing. Something you should also be aware of, is that Seventeen are known for their choreography and their dance practice videos, so when you watch their MVs, I recommend you combine your reaction with their dance practice videos. They are nicknamed "The Theatre Kids of Kpop," because they are so good at telling a story through their dance. Therefore, in order to really see what makes them extra special, you need to see their dance practice videos as well.
Aww really enjoyed this video guys. I subscribed! We all love Wonwoo! and also as you see the reason why he hasn't had a lot of parts in this video from the other comments~ Now I badly need a reaction to the SUPER LONG SEVENTEEN guide HAHAHAHHAAHHAA

Woozi wrote it for Wonwoo after his mom passed away so its extra special. This is why the members are so sensitive about it. Its just a very special song for the members and fans in general as its very personal Also something most reactors miss is DK finishing Woozis lines cause Woozi was crying and couldnt do it. The song ends with Woozi doing the "la la la" acoustic with absolutely no instruments, its just his voice pouring out the emotions. This is why fans find this exact part so special 3. this one is just a lil funny one off, during the Aju Nice, towards the end, you'd see Joshua and Vernon laughing, its because Seungkwan ate the chilli pepper and poor guy was suffering lol if you pay enough attention, you'll notice it 4. All in all it's a great video tbh cause you can really see their dinamic and how they care for each other, be it Hoshi whisper crying "Jihoona Wonwooya" or them comforting o/a or getting the stuff involved

I just saw Seventeen and played that video. When one said I just realized that I am smiling all the way my cheeks hurts😅was really relatable to carats.
I love Killing Voice so much, so thanks for this. Try Rolling Stone In My Room. I like to recommend this one because they do three songs, one from each subunit. And before they do their song, they introduce themselves. So you see them in smaller, more manageable groups. It makes it a bit easier to distinguish between the members and each member gets more attention.
Such a good reaction and if you guys can please do reaction to lollapalooza seventeen when you have time, another must thing, quite long but worth it, or just watch it on your own like take your sit, grab some drinks or snacks and enjoy seventeen lollapalooza to the fullest 😊
🇵🇹SVT debuted in 2015 and year after year their getting better and better and now became One of the most successful Kpop groups...each member Shine in his own way, all of them are amazing....have you heard Spell? OMG! 🔥

17:01 yes as others comments said it was recent since his mom passed, if I remember correctly at the time he was just returning from his hiatus like a few weeks before this, so the parts were arranged in that way, to no put too much pressure on him 17:56 YESSSSS imo SVT rappers have a very diverse type of rappers which I loveeeeeee and they made it fit the song and doesn't feels out of place like (imo) other kpop songs is my favorite rap line in kpop bc they do it all and don't focus in just 1 style/type of rapping
I've noticed everyone who reacts to this killing voice falls in love with woozi's (the blonde in the white shirt if you're not familiar) vocals, which is VERY understandable bc they are absolutely angelic. as a woozi bias I love seeing people go crazy over his voice bc of the killing voice lol
thank you for reacting to this and that’s what I’ve recommended last time😌waiting for more about SEVENTEEN and maybe you want to know more then I’ll recommend SUPER LONG SEVENTEEN GUIDE!!
yessssss love this reaction 😂 my fave part of this is their intros to the songs and the completely unnecessary subtle fighting over the mics + confusing the heck out of the cameramen. Nct127* is my fave killing voice but SVT is a close second! *if you choose to listen to react to this one please be aware one of the members has been removed from the group recently due to allegations of s€xual crimes. the rest of the group still deserves love and support though. i can always tell you who it is just so you know.
For future reactions may I recommend their very recent Lollapalooza Berlín performance, the only thing is that Jun wasn't there (he's filming stuff in China and will return to group activities at the end of the year and it was Jeonghan's last schedules before going to the military that month 😞) BUT IT WAS SO GOOD AND AMAZING ISTG If you want more vocals Rolling Stone In My Room or Genius perfomaces are perfect!! If you are going to reacto to other MVs you may add their Dance Practices bc with SVT is a must! Their choreographies are so good and synchronized is insane, you'll hear every Carat telling you to add them trust 😂😂😂
Can't wait for you to discover their other side too, being variety show kings 🤭😆 their music and choreos are crazy good but them as themselves are really nice kids who love to be funny and make people laugh. I personally recommend watch their Game Caterers episode on YT as well as their Dingo Tipsy Live to get a glimpse of who they really are and their group dynamics ☺️
All seventeen members are all versatile. ❤❤❤ All of them can sing, dance, and rap well. ❤️❤️❤️ The guy with glasses is Wonwoo. That time, he was on Hiatus. This was his first schedule from hiatus due to his Mom died that time and they decided to lessen his lines. Hope it helps ❤️❤️❤️
BTS was my gateway to kpop - but SEVENTEEN is my ultimate favorite group. I love them, I love their interactions, their vibe, their insane range in songs/genres. I just love and adore them so damn much and just like you - I am constantly smiling whenever I watch them. That or crying at their absolutely gorgeous sad songs. Or after reading their heart wrenching lyrics.
Since i love how you react on SEVENTEEN and i saw that you love them now also, can i welcome you as CARAT now?? they will never failed you 🥹 you will love them more if you watch their youtube content. they are underrated group but as you can see they can sing and dance very well even if its live (not lipsync though) we called them also as 99% comedian 1% idol 😂 you will know when you watch their going seventeen. They are the whole package of KPOP. we love them very much as they love carats also. 🥹 thank you for good reviews 🫶🏻
Can you guys reacte to "a super long guide to seventeen"? Although those videos are really super long, they introduce 13 voices and the charm of 13 people in detail.
Since you really like Woozi and Vernon's voice, you should react on Ruby (Woozi's solo) and Black Eye (Vernon's solo) + 2 MINUS 1 (Vernon + Joshua english song). You'll go insane for sure hahaha.

thank you for reacting to this and that’s what I’ve recommended last time😌waiting for more about SEVENTEEN and maybe you want to know more then I’ll recommend SUPER LONG SEVENTEEN GUIDE!!
yessssss love this reaction 😂 my fave part of this is their intros to the songs and the completely unnecessary subtle fighting over the mics + confusing the heck out of the cameramen. Nct127* is my fave killing voice but SVT is a close second!
*if you choose to listen to react to this one please be aware one of the members has been removed from the group recently due to allegations of s€xual crimes. the rest of the group still deserves love and support though. i can always tell you who it is just so you know.
You guys should react to Fallin’ Flower (Japanese Version)!! The aesthetic of that video is just 🤌🏼🤌🏼
U guys know what seventeen has the best producer of woozi and he’s also the members of seventeen,,They have a great songs ❤
I really enjoy your genuine reactions! I hope you will react to another Seventeen's songs. All of them are good!
We have a playlist of seventeen! Check it out😊
I see you guys deep diving BINI and Seventeen my Ult groups. I will surely follow
React to their lollapalooza performance pleasee 🙏😭🤍
For future reactions may I recommend their very recent Lollapalooza Berlín performance, the only thing is that Jun wasn't there (he's filming stuff in China and will return to group activities at the end of the year and it was Jeonghan's last schedules before going to the military that month 😞) BUT IT WAS SO GOOD AND AMAZING ISTG
If you want more vocals Rolling Stone In My Room or Genius perfomaces are perfect!!
If you are going to reacto to other MVs you may add their Dance Practices bc with SVT is a must! Their choreographies are so good and synchronized is insane, you'll hear every Carat telling you to add them trust 😂😂😂
yasss i love you guys reactions so much!!, welcome to the diamond life💎💗
If you love this song then you cant forget its other 2 brothers Hit and Getting Closer!!!
This made me a carat 1 yr ago ❤❤❤
Can't wait for you to discover their other side too, being variety show kings 🤭😆 their music and choreos are crazy good but them as themselves are really nice kids who love to be funny and make people laugh. I personally recommend watch their Game Caterers episode on YT as well as their Dingo Tipsy Live to get a glimpse of who they really are and their group dynamics ☺️
