Here’s a link to download (free or consider donating to help support my channel) my Postman collection files that contains all of the API calls that I have made in this video and all my other API tutorial videos. Once you import these files and populate your environment variables, you can start easily making the same API calls I did in the tutorial: andystechtutorials.gumroad.com/l/sqbuh!
Do you know if I could use this API to manage my own recipes? I am coding a blog website for my own recipes and I want to be able to save them, search them, categorize them and scale/convert recipes between different systems of measurement. Although honestly, I'd be okay with an API that can do any one thing of these... edit: Main point is that I don't want external recipes, only to use for my own
Hey Shivanshtariyal3473! I am able to get a response from the spoonacular api! Are you still seeing a 401 when you try now? Also, are you using your own api key when trying to make an api call to the spoonacular api?

Thank you!
Hey @D.T., glad to help!
Hey, I already have got my api keys 3 days ago, but i am having error and it says that im not authorized :(
Hey @justinlee7277, that's weird. When you're making the api call, did you pass in your api key as "apiKey" (casing matters) in your query parameters?
Hey, I'm following the tutorial but using my apiKey it says that I am not authorized!
Hey stillpickinganame5350, I think you need to wait for a couple of hours but then your api key should start working!
Same problem

Hi @amandajoberg463, the spoonacular api will not be able to help you manage your own recipes unfortunately
I followed your tutorial and I get 'status' failure code 401. Is there anywhere on the website a trouble shooting to check why I get the 401 code?
Hey @ManiPeralta, you might have to wait a couple of hours before the api key will start working!
Is the api working now ?? I have done the same but I'm getting 401

I cannot access it either, 401's keep appearing when using Postman
Hey James123wood, are you using your own api key when you are making the api call in postman?
@@TheYumMan Now it's working for me.
