I need the black tron minifigure to add to my lego space police collection
I have both types of figures, and I can attest that they pair really well together :)
Good news is the Blacktron Mutant is currently inexpensive on Bricklink. I was just able to secure a second one to customize into a non-mutant.
Wow that nice I love it ❤😊
Thank you very much! I'm so glad you enjoyed the upgrades :)
''Upgrading kego minifigure 26! First step, Turn the Ice Planet Explorer into a man! B)''
THAT WAS MY FIRST THOUGHT WTF
I will admit that when the series was first leaked I was really hoping for Commander Cold to be under the helmet... 😂
I get the feeling you have pink hair and a septum ring.
@@minifigsinspace I mean I belive one of the designers said it was supposed to be a base off doctor kelvin. If ya do want commander cold I think he was in a Chinese new year set (or at least his stunt devil)
@@Wolfdawg504does that have to be a bad thing tho? Anyone can wear the ice planet heavy suit (as well as have pick hair)
I would use the oxygen mask piece from that mutant guy for a damaged looking-like darth vader :P
Idk, i don't have the damaged darth vader from 2008 lol
Hey that's a pretty cool idea! That could be a fun part usage :D
Nice video, I like these modifications, my favorite was the M Tron with the green visor. Also for some constructive feedback, the background music was a little loud and distracting at times. Anyway keep up the great work 👍
Thank you for the kind words, I'm glad you like the modifications! I also really appreciate your constructive feedback, that's very helpful to know. I will strive to be more attentive to the volume levels in the future :)
As a new subscriber as of today I'm already loving your videos and it's really pleasing that the focus of your channel is on Lego Space as I'm a Gen Xer who grew up with Lego Space in the 80's. Lego is at it's best with it's own creations rather than it's licensed themes with this latest fantastic CMF series exemplifying that in my humble opinion, good video and keep up the great work :)
Thank you very much for the kind words and feedback! And welcome to the channel, I'm glad that you are enjoying the content so far! :)
I have to agree that LEGO's original creations are the best. I've only been a LEGO space fan since 2009, but the 80's space themes are some of my favorite story worlds ever created by LEGO.
Btw that new antenna live does come in pink-ish colours in the new party bus minion set
That's really cool, I'm glad it's being used outside the Minifigures theme! It's honestly a pretty unique piece and I'm curious to see how it's used in the LEGO fan community :)
I made a modification to the ice planet chain saw. I put the blade directly into the blue piece and the atached the handle to the filled stud on the side. Its hard to explain but i have a video about it on my channle
That's really cool! I believe I understand what you're describing, that's a interesting modification. I might try that out. Out of curiosity, how sturdy is the design compared to the original?
using the old neon blade would also be a good upgrade
Muy buen video 👍🥇🎊
Thank you very much! I'm glad you like it :D
I plan to use the Ultra Agents white and light trans blue helmet on the robot nurse.
Oooo, that sounds like a really cool part to use!
I took the spare antenna from the imposter and put it on the helmet of the robot butler.
That's a fun idea! I can see it making the robot butler look even more retro :)
@@minifigsinspace it does add an extra sense of realism, at least to that 50s/60s scifi vibe
CAN YOU PLSSS DO A SECOND EPISODE and with the space beetlezoid pz
I honestly hadn't thought of customizing the Beetlezoid, but now you have me thinking! I can give it some thought (and building!) and see what happens :)

Nice upgrades :)! A like and subscribe for you!
Thank you! I'm glad you like them, and welcome to the channel! :)
I am looking forward to Series 26. Series 26 may not come out in New Zealand until June or July.
I didn't realize they are that delayed for some countries, that's a huge bummer. I hope New Zealand gets them soon! In my opinion they're definitely worth it :)
@@minifigsinspace I found out last night they will be out in NZ on June 1st.
@@danielwilliamson6180 That's not too bad, a lot better than waiting until July. The countdown is on! ;)
Does anyone know what the story is with the mutated Blacktron 2 minifig? Is it maybe just down to a peanut allergy or is it something much more deliberate and sinister. I have noticed a Blacktron agent who is of alien origin is featured in Space Police 3 set number 5981: Raid VPR, possiblity of a connection their maybe?
To my knowledge, LEGO has not released any official lore behind the Blacktron Mutant lore (at least at this time). There could be a connection to Wrench (the green alien from Raid VPR), but I am not aware of one. I know Wrench is related to Kranxx (another orange alien from Space Police 3), but I think they're their own species and not mutants.
It's a fun thought if nothing else! I am also curious to know the lore behind the Blacktron Mutant :)
@@minifigsinspaceI was thinking it was like the movie District 9 where a human came in contact with an alien fluid and turned into one of the aliens. This minifigure matches that description as it seems he is slowly mutating into an alien after coming into contact with something.
underrated (i subbed
Thank you for the kind words! Welcome to the channel :D
These are small but nice upgrades!
Thank you! :)
