Sure, he saw what a national health care system "feels like" because he spent a little bit of his life in Britain...no doubt he was a healthy man at that time or he wouldn't be gallavanting around the world.
Now, try asking sick people in Britain or Canada, what they think of those systems! They are overburdened, broken systems where people wait a minimum of nine hours at hospital emergency rooms, sometimes dying in corriders before they can see a doctor...many don't have familyvdoctors because there is a shortage. Quality of care is less than in US. I could go on.
My family lives in Canada and the UK and while their Healthcare has some problems it is nothing like your description. The UK system is gradually recovering from Maggie Thatchers efforts to destroy it. There are some wait times but not if it is an emergency. In Canada my brother was treated immediately for broken ribs, taken to a Trauma Center, and kept there for 10 days with outstanding care. The follow up care was also great.
America has the the most expensive health care in the industrialized world. And, I just heard the highest number of deaths from Covid of any other advanced nation.
Oh, lady, you can just about completely dismiss any 'numbers' you may have come across from pretty much anywhere in the world with the 'incentives' program that was being utilized during all of that drama. I doubt we will ever get an accurate accounting of any of it now. @@maureenmannion6748
