I’m a great admirer of many local crafts but I have to say that Khatam is a favourite. I’m trying to get hold of some Khatam strips for me to include in some furniture that I’m making. It’s only a hobby and the pieces only go to family and friends but I think some Khatam would be an interesting alternative to the usual inlays I use
